- I dont see any previous comments from you recently, so I dont think we can ignore someone that didnt comment? Either way, it was a decision from Willow to make the heads be included with the body that matches, as it trims down on extra genes.

found the bug turned out making the body a furkin bug it out. you should just make the head split.

I there a way to only use the heads? I've been trying to make it compatible with this mod to replace the bodies, but simply changing tha paths to the sprites in FurDefs.xml does not seem to work properly in terms of the correct colors being applied (overlays seem to fit fine tho)

Whenever I make a statue of an anthro pawn, the body shape and color of the statue changes everytime I load the save! I'm assuming this is a bug.

this is exactly the mod i was looking for (the other option's just made one speicies with many heads despite the speicies in the mod having vastly difrent stats both in and out of universe) also CE compatibility?

That reminds me, the thing from WVC Xenogenes that was causing the problem with Anthrosonae fur colors was its "enable furskin is skin" patch that's supposed to enable it working with tattoos.

is it possible to add tattoos or something that add pale belly fur and other body markings? namely to mimic the look of this mod, but to be able to add it to other races using different heads. example, i'm making a sergal character using anthro genes heads, and i'd like to make the body line up more with the anthros of this mod

Hey @Erin, I've been working on patching this for Facial Animation using SunshineyDays' Genetic Head Framework. I've just about got it working, the only thing is that the framework works by loading altered textures adapted for the placement of FA features; so if I was to upload the patch to the workshop, I'd have to include the modified textures from this mod. Is that alright with you? I'll link back here of course, and it still won't function without the original mod.

Alternatively, once it's finished, I'd be happy to just send over the patch.

is the layout of colours on anthrogoats intentional? it feels odd that the first colour channel covers what's usually the second channel for other anthro types... except on the head, where it's normal.
it's not a huge deal, just strikes me as a little weird

I found the mod responsible: WVC Xenogenes. I have no idea why or how it was messing with anthrosonae fur color customization, but I figured you should know it does that.

Did the fur color customization change? I'm having the hardest time figuring out why a pawn's belly color is matching the pawn's hair color instead of using fur colors A or B. I assume it's another mod in my mod list conflicting in a weird way (B&S makes the most sense) but I can't find the exact cause.

Ah yep, that'd be where the interactions are happening most likely, noted it with both Alpha genes & Outland genes, both have VE as a dependency. I haven't got access to my main PC I have rimworld on to get logs for now, but it sounds like working as intended! Thanks for your reply!

- theres a compatibility mod called xenotype facial animation that includes anthrosonae as far as im aware.

- theres no real way for us to know whats going on unless you give us a hugslib log. Our fur colour system shouldn't affect any other genes from other mods unless they use the VE system to swap colours when the anthro genes are detected. A few of my mods do that for ears and tails.

Heya! I love the work thats gone into these, though I did have a question about interactions with other mod genes - I notice that the colour tones set for the fur tend to override a number of other mods that add ears or wings in that rely on hair colourings, is there a way to prevent this from happening? So I can run with the two toned fur for the body, but to have things like feathered wings still based off the actual hair colour to contrast against the body better
