how come no other mod has picked up on the pseudo mission/focus tree component? preferable to the clutter of a mess that is the journals and decisions in one tab

Would love to see either the mod released so people could do a fan update, or just an update to know it's not dead, etc

Thought: Why is all of Germany Catholic while all of North Germanics are Pagan, depite their Christianisation being only 200-300 years apart? You could make German state pagan at least beyond the Frankish Empire borders before 600, or if you think there will be a strong push back against Catholicism in this world, make every German state Pagan beyond the old Roman borders. At least Pomerania would be pagan, as well as Schleswig and Holstein.

I'm liking the mod so far I'm just confused as to why the United States exists in this timeline. Wasn't the protestant reformation a massive influence in it's eventual formation? With the absence of it I'm sure a similar state could have risen in it's place but not a exact copy if that makes sense. It doesn't ruin the mod I still enjoy it as is very much I just was wondering what the lore of that particular nation was. I can understand it being a placeholder for something to eventually replace it. Or even just a description of it mentioned somewhere to explain a Catholic America.

@Sir Smiles The game has not been updated to 1.2 of Vic3 so the lag is probably due to that and will be fixed when we update the mod. More content will be added at a later point

This is an awesome mod, and the execution is great so far, however I have a few things to say:
1. This mod seems to lag the game a lot, I started 2 different irish runs and both times the days were going by very slowly.
2. Currently all the new religions are near copies of the original Devout IG, I hope they are fleshed out in the futur.

Played a Louisiana game; their aspirations seem to be broken; the colonial merger events seemingly point to nothing, which causes no annexations to occur.

@Nostos As we say in the mod description, the idea for aspirations is not our own, we took most the code an idea from tony bologna on steam. He made a mod with the frameworks for the missions/aspirations mechanic we have changed a few things but most of his work remains. For our part; feel free to use the mechanic in our mod, just don't credit us.

Sweet. I also noticed that African Americans were more or less entirely Pagan which might have been the cause cuz of Liberias primary culture or whatever.

@Zwei833 the High Pinger If the emperor dies and he does not manage to get the 4 votes needed the empire does collapse. We are working on adding flavour to this our making a system where a major power in the HRE gets to run for emperor, or something like that.

@Gharug-Gro Sigma Male Liberia being pagan is not Intentional, simply a mistake because of the may we coded that religion. There are a few cases of nations not being their proper religion, all will be fixed in the next update coming later today.

What would happen if the Emperor dies and Austria fail to be elected as next HREmperor?

I just saw that Netherlands had nygammeltro, and many countries had large diasphoras of the religion. So I assumed it was meant to represent an international religious movement and not just a scandinavian thing.

@Ｚａｌｔｈｏｒ Thank you for spoting the Ireland thing, didn't even think of that. As you say, the mod is still rough, most countries are playable with a few bugs that have slipped through. We hope to have a much more improved and polished player experience by the new year.

Interesting mod. Still incredibly rough, however; for example, Ireland is essentially unplayable since it starts with no government buildings, so 100% tax waste.

@[De~Yupuro] Roasted_Cat We will elaborate more on the lore of the various religions in game in later updates, but the origin behind nygammeltro is that is was 'made' by a norwegian pastor as a form of rebelion against the catholic church and as an ethno-religion for the germanic people, same for celtic and suomenusko faiths. These pagan religions are a manifestation of peoples frustation with the catholic church that has grown so out of touch with its followers that, instead of reformation the solution in this time line was total abandonment of the christian faith.

Happy you liked the mod and updates to india and ottomans will come hopefully soonish. Bug fixes, german content and new aspirations are our first priority as of now.

Very cool mod, I don't really quite "get" the "nygammeltro" though. Maybe rename it to "neo-paganism", "Pagan humanism" or something of that sort, so that it makes sense outside of scandinavia. My interpretation of it is that the faith is meant to represent an extreme reaction to less religious reforms than OTL?

Also I'm very curious to see what Ottoman Empire and India will look like, I don't really know enough about history to know if the ottomans would have fared better or worse in this scenario.
