I made a way better b17 but had to stop playing the game before i could upload it

i think mt issue might be with the engine controller too because i remember using a bad one back then. im sure if i update those and maybe supercharge the engines the issue will be resolved. Messing with the engine of a finished build is always is extra hard

Updates love to mess with modular engines. I don't know how many times Ive seen people post on the forums "Modular engine wont start after update" Theyre always changing and or tweaking things like Torque and Liquids and Cooling ofc was broke for sometime. Im guessing by your reply those engines shouldnt be puting out 80 knots max speed they definitely changed something that affected them then. When I was building mine I had a lot of trouble with speeds and I was using the Legacy engines. It was suggested to me to use some gearboxes and change my "Aircraft Propellors to the Rotor end light and that helped me tremendously as it was a big heavy boi. Im considering releasing mine with some modular engines installed too but I know how much work is involved when you got mess with something like the engines it can change alot.

hahahahahah. yeah the new update might have broken it because this stalling issue didn't happen back when i build it in fact it was my best flying plane. Thanks for letting me know much appreciate it. if the updates infact broke the engines im sure alt hold wont work

Im sorry man. I looked right at that dang keypad and I knew what it was and completely didnt even mess with it because what happened was I took off and got up in the air then slowly began to stall it was a very slow stall I realized I was definitely stalling when I kept getting closer to the water and was about to go in it. I kept getting the nose up and then flew out a ways and went to do a turn when I did it didnt seem to want to yaw I turned a hard bank and tried to pull the nose the direction I wanted to go. It wing stalled all the way down from 1200+ feet up. Into the sea. At which point I wanted to give some feed back about the look and the speed. I do wonder if that altitude hold would have worked though I think the recent couple updates may have changed your engines. 80 Knots was my max speed. That is way too slow to sustain flight especially for a B24 You might want to check those engines something may have changed.

Thank you very much. this is one of my older build there might be some issued sorry about that. there should be a alt hold system on board with a keypad. you put in the desired alt in and turn on the alt hold button.

Right off the bat I want to say it looks really nice you did an awesome job as for the Glazed Nose I wish I would have been able to do that on my B24 but those windows let in and so I dont use them. I was amazed you built this to fit out the hangar doors. The B24 wasnt actually a slow bomber. It was pretty fast because it had Turbo SuperChargers.Its a definitely a bit too slow as I was stalling alot It just barely wants to stay in the air an Attitude hold would be amazing as it would allow the pilot to walk through the plane while in flight.

I used another bomber as inspiration for one of them, it was one of my first builds and was similar to the one on WS. The owner didn't like that so i took it down. Thank you vert much Happy to hear you like my bombers

i wasn't that good at the game when i built this so there might be small issues like that

im pretty sure this is more of a game physics issue but, any recommendations on how to sort the nose gear out if its stuck, i may or may not have kissed the ground a bit to hard (vehicle damage was set to off) and the nose wheel fully reversed.. like its not in its cradle area its rotated towards the rear of the plane and wont deploy

When i was building that i took some exterior parts from another b17 and the owner of that asked me to delete it

what happened to the B-17?

After starting the engine. go full throttle then full clutch for take off. if you want to go on land less throttle full clutch. Make sure to turn on the gyro. W/S is for pitch A/D is for Yaw L/R arrows for roll So basically after you align your plane with the runway go full throttle full clutch and hold S. after you take off make sure to turn on the gyro

Sure i will try. my Pc is broken and im using my ♥♥♥♥♥ old one. my larger builds kills the fps on it i will try to make it when i get my pc back

i do the kamikaze style attack against my friends ships. tho most of the time my game freezes from the amount of lights and explosions

Hahahahaha . I usualy add some machineguns to the nose and turn on infinite ammo if im attacking something solo. Or relase bombs without opening payload doors and do a kamikaze style

welp now that i know it has guns i will just attack like im high on crack

It has guns. Considering the fact that this is a slow WW2 bomber and they will be attacking you with brandnew jets its not the best vehicle to combat. And you would need a full crew

does it have guns. and if so can it holds its own if attacked by enemy fighters

Really happy to hear that you are enjoying it. on all my planes i put the gyros in the wings so that players can easily change between arrows and W A S D. if you would like some help doing that feel free to add me on steam and i would me more then happy to help you

really love this plane! ive modified mine so i can use it for long haul transport flights but the flight characteristics are quite nice none the less. personally not use to the arrow keys being used for roll but im getting used to it. could we maybe get a version with more traditional flight controls?

Not really but its a grate idea love its wings. will be hard to make the wings but i will add it to my planes to build list. Thanks for your suggestion
