Hmm... this is odd then. I just tested this set right now and everything works normally on my end. Perhaps a re-install of either this mod or the game would do?
What other mods are you using? This isn't an issue that I have witnessed with my sets even with the most recent updates.
Force728 has both their Mandalorian Neo-Crusader portraits and the Old Republic era Mandalorian portraits I made for LOTOR in their animated portrait/starting system pack. They do have a name in there but I'm not sure if its updated to the new naming scheme.
I have decided to add an optional edict that can be activated by players using this shipset that basically allows for the models that have sat unused in this set to finally see some action.
Unfortunately the Chiss ships are not really priority at the moment and honestly I don't plan on doing new shipsets until this summer when I have more spare time available. The list only really entails factions that I want to cover in no particular order however my plan at the moment is to get the Corellian and Zann Consortium ships done as soon as I have that time available.
And... uhh... a major shout-out to whoever decided to give this set every steam reward type that can possibly be given. That is impressive to say the least, lol...
Interesting suggestion, matter of fact I actually already made namelists for personal use to go along with these sets. I guess I can consider releasing them
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/stellaris-ctd-on-launch-only-using-dlcs-plus-gigastructural-engineering.1561154/
What was happening is that in all of my sets, the construction ship was designated to have a couple of animations attached to them when no such animation actually existed, what would normally happen is a simple error would occur and nothing else more, this is what is apparently happening for PC players. But for Mac and Linux users, instead of an error, the game crashes. So any shipset or mod that has either ships, stations, or whatever model loaded that is designated with an animation without one that actually exists is currently broken for those users.
(Out of curiosity, what was the trick for doing so?)
I can confirm that Republic ships now works on 3.6.1. And while I haven't tested this particular mod or the CIS ships yet, I will do so shortly.
Or anyone else that is running Stellaris on a Mac,
I have just put out updates for all my sets that could had potentially fixed the crashing issue, (I'm just going off the advice on how Gigastructures solved that problem). Would it be possible for you to load it up and see if it works? I don't have a Mac so I cannot test it on my own.
