I wonder if we play another game instead of medieval II or Attila, is it possible? As it's just reporting the results in Europa, i mean medieval 1 works also? or other strategy games that features custom battles?

Would love to see this template applied to other Paradox games. I know CK3 has a mod that straight up links it to TW Atilla, but a format like this seems like it would be easier to mix and match the Paradox and Total War games and mods.

Just a suggestion, maybe use with Roar of Conquest mod for MTWII. More units available and especially in /late medieval/early modern. if this works for my 1462 run then you sir are a genius and my favorite modder!

Looks good but the overlay text is way too simple ... instead of the event name ''TW Battle Influencer'' you could put ''Battle of X'', and instead of ''pick the battle outcome'' you should write something else there, more dramatic. imo

@javanmeireisa it only influences the battle so the dice rolls and stuff still matter. If you want to force the battle to win you can use the command "god" in the console to win before you lose the battle

I guess im doing this wrong? Before the battle happens I input the decision I want, for example "decisive victory" and I still end up losing. Is there a step-by-step for dummies like me to find out what I am doing wrong.

I saw someone had an unreleased mod on youtube that did that khorne, tried to reach out if we can collaborate bc I don't know how they coded it. Overall I think I like having battles not insta end, since the AI can't account for that and it might be game-y with AI reinforcing. I like this mod takes both your TW battle skill and EU4 strategy and takes both into acocunt. removing manpower on a phyrric victory makes sense I might add that

Would it be possible to have a more 'direct' reflection on the battle? IE remove all morale from whichever army lost so it insta ends, have a list of options to delete a number of units and remove manpower from each side.

@turisas You got it, the first line of the description lays it "This mod allows you to pause before a major battle, replicate the battle in a Total War custom battle, then have its outcome influence the battle in EU4"

the mod just launch an event buffing or debuffing your troups after you selected a decision where you choose the outcome of the battle, all the part about total war is to be done by you unlike the video on youtube .

Under "National Decisions" in the bottom left of that screenshot, the TW decision will fire an event. That event lets u pick the result of ur total war battle

@talvisotasRUS There is a decision called "TW Battle Influencer" that pops up, if its not available it means you currently have a modifier active from the decision

Those are just suggestions for games to make the battles in manually, you can use whatever game you want actually. I just use 1000 men = 1 unit in whatever game, and use militia units if it doesnt make a full 1000

Yes but that puts you in M&B Bannerlord, not Total War. Bannerlord battles are fun, but they aren't Total War

Already a thing. For CKIII, there's the 'crusader blade' mod, which does the same thing, but using Mount and blade bannerlord
