Hi David, great to read that TSC is working fine for you again. Indeed strange what may have caused the 'out-of-memory' error for you, especially when the real root cause is not clear (but I also suspect one of the Workshop scenarios). Many thanks to drive this little series all over again and great to see that you have enjoyed it once more. The intro-sequence on part-2 took me a while until the timing suits me (when creating all trains are static, so you need to take notes WHEN to be WHERE with the camera...). In the meantime I have published another series with the BR 155, called "Back to Hamburg"..... so, when you are still in the mood to drive the BR155 you may give it a try. Best regards, Coasty

Hi Coasty! I'm back for another run "Along River Rhine"! And, man, have I enormously enjoyed both Parts 1 and 2??!! Actually, I had deleted these two, along with a fairly large number of my most recently downloaded scenarios, when I was trying to discover the cause of my unfortunate "Out of Memory Error Message" a while ago. As you know, I never did discover the offending scenario (if such was indeed the problem), but when I did a clean re-install of TS, then I was up and running again (much to my enormous relief)! I was keen to re-install your Parts 1 and 2 of this little Series, so I have successfully done this and greatly enjoyed driving both Parts all over again. I must commend you specially for your opening video of Part 2 --- it is absolutely fabulous showing all the activity around the station at Bingen! Great stuff! All the AI you have included in Parts 1 and 2 is just superb --- fascinating to watch! Thanks so much, and kind regards, David.

Hi Grandad's trains, Danke für's Probieren und melden. Vermutlich hatte ich es dann bisher intuitiv immer korrekt gemacht; denn wie zuvor beschrieben hatte ich (bisher) nie Probleme, da die Bremsen der BR155 sehr stark sind. Gruss, Coasty

@Der_Wahnsinnige @Coasty Ich glaube die Lösung gefunden zu haben. Probieren geht übers Studieren! Bis jetzt, beim Passieren eines Vorwarnsignals habe ich immer stufenweise gebremst (1A-1B-2-3-4-5-6-7). Jetzt schalte ich schnell auf Stufe 7 und es funktioniert. In England, wo ich zu Hause bin, haben die meisten Loks und Triebwagenzüge 4 Bremsstufen (1-2-3-Notbremse). Der Lokführer benutzt höchstens Stufe 2; in der Regel reicht Stufe 1 aus. @Coasty und @Grandad´s trains. Kann es sein das die elektrische Bremse aktiviert wurde? Hatte die auch mit eingeschaltet und da ist die Bremskraft geringer beim hereinbremsen als wenn man nur mit der Zugbremse hineinbremst. Vielleicht hilft das ja. Gruß D_W

Deiner PZB-Frage kann ich leider nicht viel helfen, da ich bisher damit keine Probleme hatte und auch (noch) niemand ein ähnliches Problem gemeldet hat. Die BR155 hat sehr starke Bremsen. Ich glaube nicht, dass Du grundsätzlich etwas falsch machst. Gruss, Coasty

@Coasty. Nochmals herzlichen Dank für diese Ergänzung der Gesamtroute. Ich habe eine Frage, hat mit PZB zu tun. Nach passieren des Vorwarnsignals mit "gelb/grün", trotz pünktlichem Anerkennen (Page Down) gelingt es mir haüfig nicht, den Zug innerhalb von 34 Sek. auf 55kmh zu bringen, trotz Vollbremsung (VB). Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl das ich da etwas falsch mache und wurde mich auf deine Antwort freuen. Passiert auch auf andere Strecken in Deutschland. VLG John

Hi David, great to see that you run this little series already once again. Indeed the scenery in part-1 driving along the river is amazing. It's somewhat the extension when you drive from Cologne to Koblenz on the other route. In the 2nd part you get more to 'busy' places ending up at Frankfurt Central station which is really huge. Hi Coasty! Well, I have enjoyed another full run on this route in your Parts 1 and 2. What a fabulously scenic route this is, particularly the first half to Bingen! Hallo Coasty, herzlichen Dank für Deinen Ratschlag, den ich jetzt erfolgreich ausgeführt habe.
Ein ebenso herzliches Dankeschön für die beiden tollen Aufgaben, die wie immer ein schönes
Erlebnis sind. Es ist eben alles stimmig und die 155 passt haargenau zu Deinen Szenarios.
Es gibt nur ganz wenige, die ein solch wirklichkeitsnahes, aufwendig gemachtes Stimmungsbild
der Bahn herstellen können. Ich hoffe sehr, daß Deine Schaffenskraft noch lange nicht erschöpft ist und freue mich auf weitere interessante Aufgaben. Grüße maku

Hallo "Der Wahnsinnige", wenn Du Dir meine bisher veröffentlichen Szenarien anschaust, siehst Du einen Mix aus Diesel-, Elektro- und Dampf-Loks und das Ganze verteilt auf diverse Strecken in mehreren Ländern. Ein reines Rangier-Szenario habe ich bisher nicht veröffentlicht, weil es doch sehr spezifisch ist. In der Regel sind meine Szenarien ein Mix aus Fahren und ein wenig rangieren und natürlich bevorzugt alles rund um Güter und Fracht. Ich bin aber immer gerne für Ideen und Anregungen offen. alles gut, nehme es dir nicht übel. Hast du schon mal geplant auch Szenarios mit anderen Lokomotiven zu erstellen? Habe ein paar Loks von RSSLO und Virtual Railroads die bisschen umfangreicher sind in Sachen Einstellungen usw. nur so als Beispiel. Die 155 macht viel Spaß aber vielleicht auch Serien mit Rangieren und anderen Loks so als Abwechslung mit einzubringen wäre vielleicht auch lustig. Das war so ne Idee von mir. Trotzdem tolle Szenarios die du uns zur Verfügung stellst. Mach weiter so

Hallo "Der_Wahnsinnige", Prima! Es freut mich, dass jetzt alles funktioniert hat.... und natürlich ganz besonders, dass es Dir gefallen hat.
Noch ein Hinweis: Wenn man ein Szenario im Workshop de-abonniert hat, aber es ist dann immer noch in TS zu sehen, mach folgendes:
1. Im Hautmenü auf "Erstellen" klicken
2. Tab-Reiter "Szenarien" auswählen
3. die gewünschte Strecke auswählen,
4. das Szenario anklicken, dass man entfernen möchte
5. Auf "Löschen" klicken und bestätigen.

Auch ganz wichtig: Die Standard-Szenarien immer über "Fahren/Standard" spielen und NICHT über den Workshop-Reiter.

1.TS öffnen
2. Fahren -> Workshop -> Abonniert
3. Along River Rhine 2-2 suchen und im TS auf "ABO ABBESTELLEN"
4. TS schließen
5. Szenario im Workshop wieder Abonnieren und warten bis Download abgeschlossen
6. TS öffnen und Szenario starten.


Konnte so das Problem lösen. Werde jetzt erstmal das Szenario fahren, melde mich wenn es was neues gibt

Hi David, wow - what a feedback again. Great to see that you have enjoyed part-2 as well. Yes, I think it's well worth to play this little series more than just once, as there is really a lot to see, especially when you drive close at line speed (without the need to be in a rush).
So, many thanks once more for your kind feedback and I really appreciate that you take the time and always give a feedback on my creations - really much appreciated.

Hi maku404 und "Der_Wahnsinnge", ich vermute sehr stark, dass ihr beide einen schlechten Download erwischt habt. Das Teil-2 problemlos läuft seht ihr ja anderen Kommentaren.
Versucht bitte folgendes:-
1. Im Steam Workshop Teil-2 deabonnieren (und einen Moment warten)
2. TS öffnen und bei "Fahren/Standard" schauen, ob Teil-2 auch wirklich entfernt wurde
3. Ggf. bei "Einstellungen/Tools" den Cache leeren
4. TS beenden
5. im Steam-Workshop Teil-2 erneut abonnieren (und ein wenig warten, bis der Download abgeschlossen ist)
6. TS starten und auf "Fahren" klicken

.... dann dürfte es wieder ein wenig dauern, bis TS anzeigt, dass Workshop-Elemente installiert werden.
Wenn ihr dann auf die Frankfurt-Koblenz Route geht, müsste Teil-2 wieder angezeigt werden..... und hoffentlich problemlos starten.
Es würde mich freuen, wenn ihr euch kurz meldet, ob es geklappt hat.

Ich glaube ich habe wohl alle von Dir erschaffenen Scenarios für Deutschland und Österreich
auf meinem Rechner und bin von allen ausnahmslos begeistert. Bei den beiden letzten
Scenarios "Along River Rhine" konnte ich allerdings nur Teil 1 fahren,. Will ich Teil 2 öffnen,
erhalte ich die Nachricht "Ladefehler" Mit "Strg" / "Q" öffnen sich die Konturen langsam nach und nach. Dann erlebe ich einen ereignisreichen Ki-Verkehr und warte auf das Ausfahrtsignal.
Doch dann bekomme ich jedes Mal die Nachricht: "Spiel beendender Fehler. Zug entgleist."
Und das Spiel ist aus. Mache ich da etwas falsch?: Wie kann ich tun? Ich bin doch ganz heiß auf
die Fahrt von Bingen nach Frankfurt.

Thank you for these nice two scenarios. Everything ran all right and I came to the final destination without problems. Clear instructions in the game. The AI traffic is heavy and some new objects placed in the landscape makes the play interesting.
