oh the Timber and Steel mod adds more ship types and make them more historical. So now Qing starts with the oldest type while GB starts with the modern sail. Then the next gen is steam-sail ship, into ironclads. Torpedo boats got moved to support ship instead of light.

@chrism good idea. I want to do that too, but like the army, there is no separate interface for giving supplies and there is no base, so I have to do gui modding, but it seems quite complicated, so I plan to update it later.

Late game, there's usually a global oil shortage due to the AI not usually investing enouph in it's own oil facilities. So, how about you add a feature to this mod that was present in Victoria 2, which is the possibility to build synthetic oil factories?

this mod seems to break the ability to select production methods on individual buildings as of Mar 3, 2023.
