I ran then on some dynos that people've made on the workshop and got them to an output number that im happy with for the class of engine i was aiming for, then slapped a real life hp label on them that i thought was representative of that. So this engine and the other VF-10 for example are meant as smaller heavy engines similar to the cummins X12.

how do you measure hp?
