@jack_4654 because it's a mortar, it fires upwards and the shell lands on top of the target, similar to how a mortar would perform, if you want it to point at the target, press direct fire

uh, target Z is altitude and also this keeps pointing straight upwards and not actually aiming towards the target other then the turning

Bullet spread will mean the artillery will be off by a few tens of meters, there's not much we can do about that unfortunately.

@meow target altitude above mean sea level, so if it was a target on the ocean surface Z would be 0, but if it's on a mountain, you'd have to somehow determine or guess how many meters above sea level the target is and enter that for Z

@NTSFMagellan The way it's designed prevents it from really getting kicked around due to it using indirect fire, most of the recoil is sent directly down into the groundd
