If it happens it happens, for now this mod just updates whenever I think of a new thing to add for it that enhances experience imo.
Just wanted to ask if i would be able to use some parts of your mod for creating my own. You would of course be credited
Such things slip through the cracks at times.
I plan to maybe some day update it a little bit but not right now.
Best of luck.
If you want to grab something from the mod into your mod, make sure to at the minimum ask for permission to use content in it.
"
Hi Tomorrows Gamer, would I have permission to use some of your files in my own mod with credit given?
Hope all goes well for you.
As requested, I am humbly asking permission to use some files from your mod in ours, needless to say your work would be given credit should you give your permission.
At time of answering this TGR has had 25k visitors and 10k~ subscribers.
My mod has 3k visitors and 1k subscribers.
No uptick in visitors since it was added afaik.
It's sort of the same deal to me as it is when someone reposts another person's art without credit, because it should be noted that until I approached TGR devs they hadn't yet credited my mod.
However none of that matters as much as two things:
1. They didn't show the basic courtesy to ask to use it to begin with, if they had I'd have said yes and it'd still be in TGR.
2. Due to the above it is really respectless that I should sit back and nod while someone else benefits from the work I put into it.
Now I've little bad blood with TGR, I wished them the best of luck with continued development and I am hoping that it'll continue to floorish with original content. My position here is set on this and no further discussion will change this. Now I'll not engage further into this discussion.
I understand it makes me appear as a bit of a party pooper, but I consider it a necessary decision as of now.
If I start a game as Sweden and hover over the journal entry for fixing the outdated military, there's a pretty bad crash. Not just the game but the OS too.
I put out a hotfix that mitigates the problem (hopefully) but I can't promise anything about edge cases atm. I'll be looking into it proper in near future.
In general I think paradox tries to have as little as possible in the "possible" to prevent this, like just having a single research requirement. They probably know the journal system is janky lmao
Customs Union and Scandinavian Pan-Nationalism fire but the other events just don't fire with the requirements
