Sadly, like historical camel armor, this mod is just a fiction; the electronic equivalent or an event that never really happened.

anyone have a patched version of this mod?

WarPigs fix - is a fix! I've been playing on 1.1 just fine. It only takes 5 mins people, to delete some words from a text file. I have detailed instructions on the Aserai Overhaul comment area. Fix it, enjoy it - or whine and quit.

This mod is broken and abandoned. Do not subscribe.

Temp fix:
Find the "item's" XML file here: \SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\261550\2883073515\ModuleData
Create a Backup of the file, then right click and hit "edit". ctrl + f and search for "<Flags />"
Delete each empty flag, then save and exit.

Check out your "<flags>, bro. It's empty. Why is it empty?

Unfortunately the mod is not working with the last update.
"error: the element 'item' has invalid child element 'flags'"

You'll want to modify the "items.xml" file found in: ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\261550\2883073515\ModuleData

Be advised that if you increase the armor level too high, the saddle will never appear in shops due to its rarity. The armor level I've set in the mod is balanced for the saddles appear often enough in shops, but still have a decent protection rating :)

Visuals is something I will be working on in future updates, but my priority right now is getting the Aserai Troops overhaul mod (with new camel troops) published.

Are you planning to add visual exteriors to the saddles anytime later?

Bugfix is live! Please make sure to UNSUBSCRIBE, then RE-SUBSCRIBE to the mod to force the mod version to update. The following Camel saddles are now available to purchase in Aserai shops: Light Camel Saddle (30 armor) and Camel Saddle (40 armor).

I've done some testing and can confirm the bug - Thank you all for bringing it to my attention! To be clear, with this mod enabled you should still see camel saddles in shops , but just like the higher-tier horse armor (like Imperial Scale Barding) it will be more rare to find in shops. If you want to stock up on camel saddles or just find camel saddles more easily in general, use one of the workarounds described in my previous comment below

Camel saddles do spawn with the mod enabled, they will primarily spawn in Aserai settlements. If you don't see the saddles as often its likely because the game (correctly) recognizes them as a higher tier now due to the the higher armor value, and so it will be more rare to find in shops. If you want to find Camel Saddles more easily:

Option A:
Keep the mod disabled until you grab a few camel saddles, then enable it afterwards

Option B:
If you already have the mod enabled: first disable the mod, run the game for a few in-game days for shop items to reset, then you should quickly see many more camel saddles appear in shops. After stocking up on camel saddles, re-enable the mod to enjoy the higher armor value

Option C:
Enable cheats, press "i" for inventory and steal some camel saddles from the game.

Option D:
Just accept that with due to the 65 armor rating the camel saddles are (appropriately) more difficult to acquire :P

I don't know why, but I can't find a single camel saddle. I use this mod and the "Improved Camels" mod. (And a bunch of others but I never had problems finding camel saddles with these)

Camels are so extremely op due to having higher maneuverability than horses and being a like a platform over the battle that you can massacrate from. They also look funny.
I love them. But previously they got killed very quickly. Thanks. Have a golden unicamel
