Camel Armor is a simple mod to fix a simple problem: lack of decent Camel saddle/armors.

In Bannerlord, there are only 3 Camel saddles... and all 3 have the exact same stats: 10 armor (of type Leather). Since the best horse harnesses can get up to 60+ armor, 10 Leather armor for Camels is just pitiful in comparison.

In this mod, the armor rating of the normal Camel Saddle is increased from 40 armor, and the Light Camel Saddle has been added to the game (30 armor).

Additional higher-tier camel armor to come with future updates of this mod.

You can also edit the "items.xml" file in the mod folder (found in: ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\261550\2883073515\ModuleData) to tweak the numbers as much as you desire... from 1 Armor all the way to 1000 armor :)

There is also an "Armored Camel Saddle" added in this mod that has a whopping 65 armor, but it is not purchasable in shops. This armor will be used in elite Camel Units in my upcoming Aserai Army overhaul mod. Stay tuned :)

This mod makes no visual changes to the game. It simply adjusts some numbers to make riding Camels into battle a viable tactic.

PRO TIPS

If using my Aserai Overhaul mod, this mod indirectly buffs the Aserai due to their new camel troops line. The elite camel units come saddled with 65 armor :)

MOD CONFLICTS / MOD NOT WORKING?

Make sure this mod is at the bottom of your load order, otherwise another mod that changes armor might cause the Camel Armor mod not to work.

SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE?

Simply check or uncheck the mod in the mod menu in Launcher to activate/deactivate. UPDATE: The Nov. 8th 2022 update of this mod introduced additional camel saddles. Due to these brand new items, if you want to disable the mod you'll first need to get rid of the new items (light camel saddle and armored camel saddle) if they exist in your inventory or if you're companions are carrying one of these new items. You should then be able to safely disable the mod.
