As a woodworker, this was always one of my favorite mods! I haven’t used it in a while because of the game updates but I thought you should know that it scratched an itch and was really well done. Seriously underrated mod. Thank you for sharing!

Also.. im able to build most stuff out of logs as well as lumber but vanilla sculptures just allow logs except for ironwood.

Trying to figure out which mod causes Mixed Lumber to be invisible and nonusable. Any help is appreciated, this error is entirely due to my obscenely large modlist. This is the Debug Log,

Eh unfortunatelly this mod doesn't work for me. I liked it a lot on Rimworld 1.3. Can anyone help? Here is my log:

Hello, guys. Sorry for the late response. I am out of Rimworld. I will try to answer separately:

@lascupa0788: no, sorry. Like I said, I am not active in the Rimworld community lately.
@Mitroll: good to have some balance feedback. Thanks. The prices are not mine though. This mod is really old. I am just trying to keep it alive. Rebalancing would take a time that I don't have atm. Sorry. It's not a matter of balancing the main mod but also every single patch and this mod has a lot.
@AAA: no. Be careful.
@Bananabob: Medieval Overhaul has its own wood > lumber mechanic now. I don't see how to make it compatible. You will have to choose I am afraid.
@all: Sorry if the answers are not very encouraging. I don't have much time to play Rimworld now. Hopefully I will return in the future. This game is addictive. In the meantime, take care and see you soon in the Rim.

Lumber is worth way too much atm.

I turned 100 oak logs into excellent large sculpture, it took all day, and it's worth $335
I turned 90 oak logs into 180 oak lumber, it took a couple hours, and it's worth $675

One suggestion would be to make 15 logs -> 15 lumber and maybe a slight nerf to lumber prices. Alternatively if you are adamant about keeping the current prices, perhaps 15 logs -> 10 or 12 lumber?

Other than that, I love the mod, thanks!

@VolatileGlitchAviator: Are you serious? "Patches included" refers to the mods that are patched as of today. By logic, any mod not listed is not supported. If I had to write a list with all the mods not supported at the moment, it would be several thousands long. Basically the whole workshop but the mods of the "Patches included" list.

nvm, I had the wrong folder structure for the translation files. It's working now, even for patched in defs :)

Is it possible to translate defs that are added via patches? I tried to translate the labels and description for the Biomes Prehistoric Patch (logs, lumber, recipes, etc), but it didn't apply. However, translations from the Defs folder are applied correctly.

Well, while staring at this stuff with an expression of abject terror, I did spot one thing. There are places where it has something saying "PatchOperationFindMod" and in some of those places it has the Zen Garden mod's name. However, the current version of Zen Garden is one of Mlie's Resurrected Mods and is named Zen Garden (continued) so that may be part of the issue.

@BlueTressym. The patch for ZenGarden is one of the oldest. I am not surprised it didn't work. It has been in EW since 1.0 I think. I don't use that mod and right now I don't have enough time with work and such. If you could fix it and send it to me, it would be of great help.

ETA: I realised after posting that I still had Stuffed Floors active, so I removed it, just in case, and tried again. Results are the same except that I can't make the vanilla wooden floor from the Ebony or Cherrywood; they don't appear in the dropdown menu (the lumber for vanilla trees does).

Hiya. Your suggestion for Regrowth worked perfectly. However, I've found another... oddity. It's not throwing any errors but the patch for Zen Garden doesn't seem to be functioning. The Crabapple tree is giving me generic wood logs. The Zen Cherry Tree and persimmon tree are giving me the same as they do normally; ebony wood and cherry wood, with the log textures but usable as if they were lumber. I risked a quick poke in dev mode and the lumber for them doesn't appear as an item if I try to spawn it, though lumbers for vanilla trees do.

@BlueTressym: just delete the patch file you don't want. Don't need to unsubscribe. By the way, if you decide to remove my patch, be careful because the same file contains all the patches for the Regrowth series, not only Temperate.

@BlueTressym: you are using the collection of patches of Holgast, that also contains a patch for Regrowth. That's why the conflict. You have two patches for the same mod. The Cocoawood was a choice of the former author of EW (I don't understand it either), but I decided to keep it out of respect.

Hi. I'm getting an error thrown that may be from this mod. The 'Cornish Tree' (from Regrowth: Temperate) is doing something weird. It looks like it's trying to drop both Pine logs (which sort of makes sense, as it's apparently a conifer) and for some reason, Cocoawood logs as well (?)

The actual wood I'm getting from it seems to be the pine logs.

So I have the prehistoric logs from Biomes! Prehistoric, but I'm missing the recipe/bill to turn the logs into lumber at the woodworking table (rest of the bills appear fine). Anyone else have this problem or do I have a mod conflict I got to seek out?

@BanHandled: I'm afraid you can only confirm that it doesn't work for you. VGP patch works fine for me. Finding a mod conflict is a tiresome task but it's up to you to find it. Start loading only EW, and then add possible offenders until you find the mod responsible. By the way, please read the mod description. Next time you report an alleged bug without a log, your post will be removed. Good luck. I hope you find it.
