I cant think for the world, why the devs of rimworld decided that the mod window should be a 400x400 tiny window like a mobile phone app size. And that it doesn't change if i run the game at 1440p on a 27" monitor. I can't even read the names of my mods properly.

Thanks so much for this! I play on the Steam Deck, and especially with mods, not everything is set up to fit comfortably on a 7" screen -- just going to 0.9 scale makes a huge difference!

would be so great to have an ability to make actions smaller. really, with tons of mods these actions take too much screen space.

In general yes you can change any words in the game if you make a mod to do so. With this no, this just changes the ui scale

Im having a bit of an issue where the game auto resets itself when I try to go smaller than 1x UI scaling, am I doing something wrong? Perhaps misread something and didn't get the information out of it that I needed to?

I can even put something like 1.08 and it still works! Thank you.
The only silly thing is it "auto-erases" if you backspace from the end, and typing 0 doesn't work - you have to type 108, then add the period between 1 and 0 after.

Please consider making a Mod that supports 1024 X 768 screens on the Research Tab. Right now, the vertical and horizontal scroll bars are broken, and any Mods that are added are listed vertically instead of horizontally. This makes all research impossible.

This is such a game changer for SteamDeck users (like me). I could barely see anything with a pawn that has loads of abilities but now I can actually see what's happening again. Thank you so so much

can this make the UI bigger instead of smaller? I've changed the value from 1 to 3, and it saves... I see it is 3 when I reload the game... but nothing is different visually.

God I needed this, always had issues editing xenotypes with a bazillion genes because rimworld doesn't naturally cap the view to a scroll - eventually you'll be blocked from adding more because the selected genes UI overtakes the gene selection UI. This helps immensely by letting me set the UI to something like 0.5 and being able to cram FAR more genes onto a xenotype. Only issue is eye strain lol.

Next step is to find a mod that actually adds in a selected genes scrollbar to the xenotype editor. That, or some way to adjust UI scale dynamically.

Ello I might be having a problem with the mod maybe? I have activated it in the mods section and checked the mod settings and didn't find the mod so wondering if I gotta restart rimworld or if it's some bug or sth else

i dunno if this possible, can the scaller also affect the 'gizmo/widget' or what ever they called?

Perfect for my 12.5 inch screen. As I've added more mods I've lost more and more screen space. (floor options took up the whole screen) But this mod has helped me to fix that in such a useful and simple way.
