just looking at Mars or Hersheys chocolate was an important staple good especially in the great depression. Thats were the peanut-chocolate bars came from.

Demand occurs even when ARoAI is used. (At least Cokemod's cocaine and this mod's chocolate attract people from all over the world.)
Introducing a mod that adds a product for which an ARoAI patch exists may not generate demand for that product.

my bad, the issue with lack of demands is likely an incompatibility with ARoAI

the issue is these new goods (chocolates, soda, etc.) mods is that 1: they mess with your canneries. Your pop's demand for canneries may not grow as fast as in vanilla. 2. there may never be any demand for them in my experience.
But sugar beets production method is very very nice.

it's incredible this isn't in the base game already, we have everything EXCEPT cacao

it uses both, chocolate was not activated yet , that is why you can't see cacao on the left.
in the production method window you can see it will start consuming cacao and more sugar if you activate it

sorry but shouldn't chocolate be made from cacao and sugar instead of just sugar like in the images?
