this mod is long outdated, and its mostly not needed anymore since the colonial claim system has been introduced.

This mod seems to be causing an issue with french territories starting as unowned by france (not even colonizable it seems) as of the latest DLC.

I didn't want a mod to outright remove the decentralised nations, but it was driving me crazy that the USA would colonise these places every game, and thus prevent me from incorporating Alberta/Sask and Confederating Canada.

I can't tell if it's a bug that the transference of territory below the 49th to the us doesn't give Canada the stuff above the 49th, but it's annoying, so thanks for this!
