solar flares are annoying. i wish there was a gameplay method to deal with them like being able to build machines that reduce power output but insulate vs solar flares, cause right now the only way to deal with it is to revert to pre-electricity for a couple days

In real life, solar flares happen just like RimWorld - at least once or twice a year, and it shuts down the entire planets electronics and the economy and human life collapses. Oh wait, it doesn't, because irl solar flares don't work that way. Right. Cheers on a great mod that I wish wasn't necessary.

Rimworld is the only game i like, but consider nearly unenjoyable if it's unmoded. Mods like this make it flat out better. Solar flares are bad game design, plain and simple.

I used dev mode to make an advanced base, and when a solar flare comes along EVERYTHING is disabled. This is more annoying than a baby crying on a plane

I generated a random scenario and it has both permanent solar flare and planet killer. I didn't realize the consequences until a fair bit in. Hopefully this mod can make it possible to save my pawns from certain death 😅
