The mod is calling the file "talkingDeadCustomLine.lua" and the downloaded file is called "talkingDeadCustomLines.lua"....

9: i desactive the mod
10: i unsubscribe because i got scare
conclution: best mod eve.r not a mod for a chicken like me

@Sebastian though hilarious and completely harmless, the animals talking should still be patched.

Will we ever be told how to add custom lines?

@Regent I guess if it were to stay, head canon-wise, animals talking would be purely hallucination based vague whispers and zombies talking is up to interpretation. The WTF moment of thinking you just heard a deer talk does sound pretty cool.

Deer said "P-Please" to me today, it's a zom or zomboid eat world out here, that said i consider it a feature and hope it stays

I've noticed that the lines apply to the animals as well.
When I shot a mouse in a test server without zombies it spoke.

What is the proper format in the custom lines?

Really love the mod. But i noticed that the lines only trigger after i hit the zombies. Is that intended? I think it would be better if they would trigger at random times, and not only during combat.

Found 2 military armored zeds within a horde and had to lead the group around to make sure to eliminate all others without damaging the armours (using axes), eerily, one of those two uttered an intelligible "Ahahaha" and gave me goosebumps, kinda felt like it knew I was playing tag and was saving these two for something special.
