can i use this for a base in a build that will end up on the workshop?

how are you supposed to get it to disconnect? i press de activate tyhe rail mode but it just reconnects

this vehicle achieved a safety rating of 8. wall 10, kicker 10, moose 4 and rough terrain 9. one of the highlights would be this vehicle is also hard to control at higher speeds.

could you do one of these but like a high rail or heavy duty i thing it would be nice give it ropes and all the basic equipment you would need

I figured out how to get this to work again. Train wheels don't care about vertical force in regards to derailment. The only factor is rotation. If train wheels are forced to rotate past a certain angle relative to the track in the track's plane, then they derail. Nothing else matters.

Could you update this with track switching?

@À̸̲ngry ̴͖͆C̸̗̆hef Man That is unfortunately a bug with the game, I have reported it :( I have good success with the disengage working but it does not always

is there a specific place i need to be to un-rail? i disengage the rail mode (even tried doing it at a decent speed) but all it does is bottom out suspension and then immediately rehook to the rails, and at the high speed disconnect attempt it again bottomed out, completely stopped the truck, and reconnected itself

@454SS i have an idea for a vessel
she would be the size of Almeria (Possibly bigger) and have the garage and separate helipad (that can fit all 3 sizes of helicopter) and container slots
she would also have an airlock and deck trapdoors like Avala to create the ultimate mothership!

I am ADORING this vehicle, I love it. Sadly, I can confirm that there is no rail separation. It tries to lift the wheels off and nothing happens, so I hit the separator buttons on the front (And later back) to ensure they were active and it still didn't do anything. :(

It does work, it is a bit bulky, but more of a reliable proof of concept.

oh yeah the AMOG can pull around 5 of these
but it probably can pull more i haven't tested

@454SS i have a design i made a while back its pretty stable it has roughly the same suspension as the AMOG so it is good with off-roading i tested it out recently at the multiplayer island and towed it behind the AMOG throuth the ponds on the island and it preforms very well
you could base it off of my design or better yet make it an official OMUA vehicle

@Commander Perk :) Awesome! That's a very interesting idea, I will have to try that! So, in essence, land trailers that are also amphibious and can be towed into the water, and each one can contain different vehicles/equipment, ie. heli trailer, submarine trailer, etc. Cool!

speaking of OMUA i was thinking about making different trailers for the AMOG which would practically make it into a modular amphibious mobile command center

If you twist them off of the track they come off ;) However it makes things a bit more awkward and bulky. But twisting is the only way at the moment I believe

@The Hunter I have tried so many methods, including using pistons to "eject" the truck from the track, pivots, etc. etc. but nothing seems to work. I have included a link to my feature suggestion to the developers in the top of the description, if everyone can upvote it hopefully it gets implemented :)

Have you figured out how to detach vehicle from tracks after switching off activation key?? Cause when it gets stuck it gets stuck, I used the SRS Huskey to try and remove it through plows and cranes, and towing, nothing worked to get it off tracks despite devs saying its now easier to derail
