Under Setting go to the "General" tab and there should be the option physics detail

Yeah I remember having a similiar issue except for me I had to set it to high otherwise it would be stuck, that's just Stormworks I guess :D

So apparently your physics detail thing has to be on medium, or the door fails to open or close.

Can't reproduce this issue, seems to work fine for me, try changing the physics detail in the game settings

That might be an idea, however I hardly have any knowledge about english stuff :P
You are free to customize the myourselves, I might look into it one day, but don't expect anything too soon.

red cross or not, air ambulances are a thing, emergency lights? no, no, no, they serve no purpose, you get priority by radio, not lights

There is also not Red Cross Rescue Plane, so that's also not a thing. It's a game.

I know emergency lights aren't exactly necessary on a plane, but they do have an actual use (taxing on a busy airport for example).
But yeah, fair point to you, hope this doesn't entirely ruin your day :D
