I haven't played since when I updated the mods in 4.26. Try checking out the mod and let me know if I need to update it.
DeFischio 14. aug. 2024 kl. 0:34
Does it work with 4.38
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 17. juni 2024 kl. 22:39
This mod still works in version 4.23, and does not need an update.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 17. juni 2024 kl. 22:30
as of 4.18, "MaxCouncilorAttribute" was still an exposed variable in TIGlobalConfig, albeit not one that is included in the file by default, even in the current version (4.23). This mod should still work, I will test it in the near future.
Savantic 24. maj 2024 kl. 10:22
@Aelita doesn't work for me. If I edit the 'TIGobalConfig' file in any way it crashes the game
Aelita 26. apr. 2024 kl. 14:52
You can manually add that line back. It still works.
Dragon-Raptor 24. apr. 2024 kl. 3:59
An FYI, the manual method for implementing this no longer works: the line 'MaxCouncilorAttribute' has been removed from 'TIGobalConfig'.

Time to start digging...

Needs updated
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 24. okt. 2023 kl. 8:10
unfortunately, I haven't seen a way to do it @Kalisa. Unlike the techs that change your control point cap, this is done by directly changing a config instead of applying an effect. I think I would need to make a unity mod to do that, and idk how those work
Kalisa 23. okt. 2023 kl. 16:01
is it possible to set something like this up thats locked behind certain techs, like cybernetics and its tiers, with the idea of more potential being unlocked/caps as you improve the person, maybe even increasing org cap with it?
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 19. aug. 2023 kl. 22:50
mod is working fine on my end on a new device. so I am unsure what the problems people had experienced could be.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2023 kl. 19:46
I'm going through to see what changes have happened since I last played and update this mod. If anyone is aware of what is causing the mod to only work upon reinstalling or manually changing, please let me know. I'll try to figure it out from my end, but I could use help if anyone knows what's wrong.
Dr Sys 8. dec. 2022 kl. 7:15
@Caek - that works like a champ. Well done!
Caek 2. dec. 2022 kl. 14:00
Tested this out myself - the mod doesn't work, same as the takeover space asset ones, but the change itself does. If you manually go to the main game's TIGlobalConfig and copy paste in "maxCouncilorAttribute": 40 alongside the character generation info, the change still works. I've got guys with like, 32 admin for example.
Dr Sys 29. nov. 2022 kl. 15:53
Stopped working last update. Have done as far as a full clean install of the game, adding only the mod and still fails. I suspect that the latest update limits the upper limit of stats elsewhere now.
[PoA] BuzzMeeks 7. nov. 2022 kl. 9:22
Delete the mod, reload the mod and it works again
Hallowedsoul08 6. nov. 2022 kl. 16:54
No longer works anymore.
The Hat 6. nov. 2022 kl. 7:53
This no longer works. I've tested it on its own and either editing a save past 25 or levelling to 25 no longer allows you to augment to 26+. The option disappears in the Augment list either way.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 24. okt. 2022 kl. 22:28
sorry, I personally havent found that setting @plhalaser.
plhalaser 23. okt. 2022 kl. 2:29
@BlazingImp can you share setting for more orgs for global? Please
James Fire 18. okt. 2022 kl. 22:49
The problem I'm having is that the ID in the modjson is null
illPosedProblem 12. okt. 2022 kl. 1:56
I disabled all other mods, unsubscribed from this mod, deleted it manually from the Enabled, then re-subscribed, downloaded, restarted. It's enabled. And now it kinda works again.
If I load a savefile I loaded just after the .23 update, the stats are limited to 25, even though I hadn't overwritten that save. If I load an older save, which I hadn't loaded with the mod not working, the stats are limited to 40. Weeird. But thank you.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 11. okt. 2022 kl. 16:35
does this actually not work in the latest version? I havent been on in a few days, and i havent even tried this version of the mod (i use another that does multiple things at once).

if you are having trouble, maybe try to re-install it because the mod wouldve been taken out of the template when the game updated
illPosedProblem 9. okt. 2022 kl. 23:29
<most annoying whine ever> Update for .23 ?
But, seriously, thanks for the mod, and for explaining the modding process.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2022 kl. 18:09
the variable isnt visible in the base TIGlobal config. to see it (and more secret config variables) you need a decompiler or such that can read the assembly. I use dnSpy.

you can find out more about how this all works over on the Official Terra Invicta Discord (I think you can find it on the reddit or the game's website?)
Hebrux 7. okt. 2022 kl. 18:08
is the maxCouncilorAttribute variable a new one you created? Can't seem to find this variable in the vanilla files. Wanted to make a similar mod but for organization size
Noxious 4. okt. 2022 kl. 4:19
Checked and that was the problem.
Esmarix 3. okt. 2022 kl. 21:24
@Noxious try going into the mod folder inside the games steam folder and make sure the mod folder is not in the wrong place. Happened to me and it worked after manually changing things, worth a try if it keeps crashing.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2022 kl. 21:01
that might be a problem with the game's mod manager. the mod only does one thing, so it shouldnt be causeing any problems.
Noxious 3. okt. 2022 kl. 13:27
When i attempt to disable this mod, the game crashes and prevents me from playing with any mods.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2022 kl. 14:13
sorry, on the modding channel in the discord i think we determined that if there is a way, it requires modding the assembly (with harmony or smthn?) and i personally cant help with that.
Cynewulf 2. okt. 2022 kl. 6:49
@Styanatos
Seconding this. Even with 50 Admin I'm still limited to vanilla number of orgs, and I can't find a value in the files that alters it.
Styanatos 2. okt. 2022 kl. 3:45
Any known value for increased total orgs allowed per counciler?
Esmarix 1. okt. 2022 kl. 16:39
nice, I am going to see how this alters the balance :) can imagine some interesting scenarios with super assassins etc.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2022 kl. 16:14
its a mod that adds one line to global config making your councilors have a higher attribute cap. i didnt touch anything else, so they should stay the same.
Esmarix 1. okt. 2022 kl. 15:43
ofc, I really like mods myself, I was just wondering if I missed some points as to why this could be needed :) a question though, if I were to use this mod how does it work with the xp rates? does that change or they remain the same?
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2022 kl. 15:07
oh, and it was an experiment in learning how to make mods, and how to upload them to the workshop, there's also that.
BlazingImp77151  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2022 kl. 15:05
It isnt really, its just for fun to allow me (and others) to have characters with higher attributes.
Esmarix 1. okt. 2022 kl. 14:34
not to be critical but my question is why this? can you give example of where or why this is needed? I am just asking since I may have missed it.
Cynewulf 1. okt. 2022 kl. 13:25
This mod inserts a single line into the Global file. If the mod is not working, just manually copy it from the downloaded mod and insert it yourself (backup the file first if you are unsure).
Altumnus 1. okt. 2022 kl. 8:33
Works for me, but I had to enable it and then restart my game a few times before it took effect.

Seems to be an issue with the game itself, not the mod, since the other mods I'm using also took effect at the same time that this one got recognized.
sargatanus 1. okt. 2022 kl. 6:14
Hmmm... Doesn't seem to work. I've enabled the mod in-game, restarted twice, used a utility to boost stats (works in vanilla) but they still seem capped at 25.
