It's been a looong time since I've worked on it. It's pretty old and was made when the physics sensor wasn't even a thing. I do have a better one in work, but I am kind of on a hiatus

it's bulky, most sensors could fit inside the physic sensor, and the leading is just not working? i'm using the example. definitely not the best computer.

the controller will correct lead but if it overshoots the leading it doesn't fix it's mistake, it just sits there for the target to come closer...

what kind of positioning does this MC need? the tracking camera outputs target's map X on channel 1, target altitude at channel 2, and target map Y on channel 3, your computer seems to hate this input

the stabilized camera outputs the coordinates in XZY, the balcomp takes them in in XYZ

any reason why this doesn't work? im so confused trying to get it to point at something and it being 90 degrees to the right than it should be, i'm using a stabilised camera for the gps target

It would be nice if I can set PID values variably based on the distance between the target and the turret. Low values are nice and accurate if the target is far enough, but in closer range the turret cannot follow the target as fast enough. On the contrary, with high PID values, it is effective to closer range, fast moving targets, but it wobbles too much when it comes to long range shooting.

yeah, there is a max range for every gun, calculated through the bullet lifespan

Is there a max range? i'm sending gps data to it from a drone several km away. and i can't seem to get the calculator to let me shoot until within 1.5-2km

I feel bad for asking so much. I´m so noob at this things, and english are not my native language, but I really want to understand it. So i´m going to ask like a dummie:
How do I open fire upon something? Do I have to face towards a target until the blue light turns on, so the MC will be adjusting the gun position to make a hit?
Once everything is connected, could you tell me a step-by-step guide of how making this hit a target?

well, the balcomp itself doesn't care about the amount of targets, it only cares about which coordinates it is fed, so it depends on which target you grab the coords from

How does this works with multiple radar targets? I mean, there is a way to "lock" just one target? Or what? Could this be used against ground radar contacts from a ground vehicle?

And no, it doesn't have a gigantic performance impact, but it mainly means the ballistics computer can instantly calculate the correct angles to the current target

Or air to ground, this is solely a computer that aims at a target compensating for drag and other things. In v3.0 which I am already working on there will be the ability to disable target leading however, which will do greatly if you only want to aim the gun in a certain direction at a certain distance!

This is only for radar tracked targets, isn´t it? I mean, there is no laser distance or a crosshair to aim to a target, the controller adjust the gun and then open fire, right? This is for ground-to-air or air-to-air guns.

Well the angel between pure persuite with the gun and pulling the right lead to hit, pretty much just turning the entire aircraft into the turret, but skipping the GPS cordinate part since that would just be wasted power to convert to

This is mint, im gonna try hook it up to forward facing guns on a jet, and the turret adjusts the guns to hit the target even if it isnt entirely on your crosshair. Wish you could add WarThunder like aim for seats, would make dogfighting fun as.

Hi, is there any possibility for you to upload a example setup?, Does not even have to have weapons, just decoy that points/aims at a target, just something I can reverse engineer to make it easier, I cant seem to get the controller to work for myself im not very good at technical logic stuff
