A "grim dark" version would be to emphasize rite effects but for it to be fair I would need to emphasize something for factions that do not use rites. It would be quite a lot of work so no promise on that front.
I personnaly use both "Dave" the official modding tool and RPFM an unofficial one but here is how I do it in RPFM :
Create a new packfile then rightclic "add file from packfile" (then find your game file / data / data.pack
then look in DB folder
double clic the the rituals table
check in for the effect duration in "ritual_payload_effect_bundkes_tables"
modify the values accordingly and save (if in RPFM) I strongly suggest to save in a seperate folder than the game folder.
Then paste it in your data folder with a picture (I don't remember the size needed)
And you can play with it or upload it.
If you want to check or modify an other mod go to:
Steam/ steamapps / workshop / content / (game id for me it's 1142710 but I don't know if it's the same for everyone) / mod ID and then open it with RPDM. Modify it and save it in your data folder (after renaming)
I hope it will help, I won't do modding support here, it's not the place ;)
