@Platoonterror absolutely, and demonstratably, false. Knock down giving units, especially shattered units, survivabilty has been an issue since WH1. Compare this to earlier TW titles where running down units with cavalry was a good way to annihilate fleeing models.

Instead what you get with vanilla is just units taking pitiful amounts of damage being knocked down repetitively, where as by contrast Lords who are immune to knock down actually can get killed faster because by standing they can get hit more readily.

I am exactly sure on how or if collision damage works in melee. From my understanding lord's (and monsters) like taurox and nakai when in melee means in a way that they will also deal more damage to the entity's that are hit by those animations that send entity's flying correct?

Kind of. it is is a little bit easier to pull units out, but they can still be stuck. Just try it out :)

Haven't tried this mod yet but does it affect how cav can move through units? Ie, pulling out of combat for repeat charge?

Gave this mod a try. Really improves the performance of cavalry, chariots and monsters so they can go right ahead with killing things rather than just needlessly knocking them down again and again.
