to be honest i did some reserch on this stomp attack and you will have almost guaranteed stomp attack if you look down on the infected and it has to alone idk how to describe it but it works kinda like glory kills in doom eternel (dependind on wich side you execute it or where you look) you will do diffrent glory kill.

pretty much rng attack with less percentage on the stomp

its random from push enemy away to stomp an enemy to death

If the Witch wasn't affected by this it'd be nice. Valve made the Witch enough of a joke already with the crowning mechanic;

get close to a single common infected or witch and press M2 when decently close and the infected u are aiming just die.
(if the witch or common infected that are you trying to kill is close by another infected the stomp gets cancel same applies when crouching the stomp gets cancel as well)

-The STOMP is only visible on Thirdperson - on first person you just see a normal shove attack.

How to trigger the stomp?

they should be working fine together ,about the "FPS" animation , the shove animations either will hide the animation while looking to your legs or the legs might not have support to reflect in realtime your thirdperson body when doing the stomp.

@Helrika that why is a cut mechanic , is fun a insteresting to see thats for sure .. BUT in real life can be pretty buggy and unbalanced sometimes because of getting scrapped on early development by VALVE , (this script doesnt change nothing about the stomp , just enables the Cvar)

@MOTHERCOCONUTS the problem with that version of the mod is messing with gamemode files , causing a lot of incompatibilities with other addons and bugs to just enable the stomp, compared to this addon that just adds the stomp by just pre-forcing the Cvar to be enable once you host a local server and nothing else and also making the script less heavier at the same time.

when i try this locally i automatically stomp on them most of the time especially if i force spawn 1. when i spawn more i find that even if they are knocked away and not on the ground, my character will still stomp even if they are standing. i dont have any infected modifications but i do run custom models. animations are not modified

I don't think it's possible to make a Xdr version because there are no other animations related to shoving infecteds to add the Stomp itself ..... but if someone wants to attempt to do it , them you guys can feel free to do whatever you want to make it visual / client side only.
