hopefully smaller. the reason it is more or less 2gb is because it has duplicate files that will kill the mod if you try to delete either. we will be releasing a new ship first, than reworking the mod.

ello, running this mod prevents me from starting a new save, as the game will usually freeze itself somewhere around the "starting new game" mark

Hello, I seem to be encountering a similar (if not the same) problem of the game suddenly freezing, in my case earlier than midgame. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Damm thats a shame. Unfortunately i have played a save without this mod on and have not had this issue so its probably something with this mod, which i hate because again i really love this mod.
Something else weird is that the launcher also says that its still for version 3.9 which i know is wrong because you updated it to work for 4.0. Dont know if that's related or not.

been getting freezing myself. thing is, i have no cluse what causes it. my team apperently has not been affected so i really have no clue! i do not believe it generates any crash or error logs.

Ok i honestly have no idea why but for some reason this mod when i look at it in the playlists part of the launcher it says its -2GBs? I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to download it again but it didn't work so i dont know what to do. Been trying to figure out why the game keeps freezing completely around the midgame and perhaps this has something to do with it. Anyone has any advice i'd appreciate it cus i love this mod and really want to keep playing it.

yaaa no, lol, had the thought myself, but i nearly ended up in the hospital because of the stroke it inspired. lol also, that thing would be game breakingly powerful. would still like to have it, but making the model would be a nightmare!

Yo you should totally add the Imperium Ultra SSD fr, totally not the size of a Death Star in an SSD style

not the imperial class. the star destroyer class ships in general together. for example the victory I and II are star destroyers. if i remember correctly, the gladiator is classified as a SD. so, the battlecruisers, advanced star destroyers (eg bellator, executor.), would be ones i want to be left along with two other types to preserve the feel of the mod as much as possible.

TL;DR not merging ship looks, just the hull sizes since there are a good few that are actually SD's.

i guess, problem there is that all the work done, which in doing so would be a ton, would end up wasted if we got push back. personally, i very much believe merging most of the ships with the vanilla ones would ruin the feel of the mod. the feel that made me love it in the first place. have to remember that how a game or mod feels is important, especially when that feel is already well established.

that is a capitulation i am willing to make later if we reach a limit with the ships. beyond that i have set a limit of four ship sizes in the least.

the way i see it, it would end up feeling like nsc, where most of the ships are just ship sections, in the vanilla ones, one of my team believe we could make each section have certain stats. personally. i am fine with merging ships into their appropirate classes, (star detroyers with star destroyers lore wise, like the victory i and II, as currently they are in with the cruisers) but personally not merging the majority into the vanilla classes. there is a limit to how many classes you can have, but i want to leave at least four to preserve the feel and use of the mod.

Glad you love the mod! the weapons do not replace any assests whatsoever, they only add on to the game, any weapons you might add to the game from other mods will have no effect on them. the reason the ships are not compatible wih nsc is because they overwrite the looks of the vanilla ship sizes. feel free, but it is kind of pointless to add star wars weapons to use with the mod since there are already star wars weapons.

I tested this mod out and absolutely love it but I notice you added some weapons to the ships is this compatible with Star Wars Weapons and Ship Components that you know of?

What mods do people here recommend to go with this mod for a Galactic Empire playthrough? I took a break from stellaris when this mod last broke from 3.14ish.

Also, @everyone i will be releasing a small update soon to fix the turbolaser tech progression, i noticed that if you do not use the civic it is difficult to make progress for the light turbolaser tech. Also, i will be implementing an upgrade rule to make it so you also do not need to manually change\add the light one once researched.

@aki indeed, unlike nsc it has a comptely seperate shipset from vanilla! par of the reason i love it so much, also because there are VERY few like it. so after the sting quit, it destroyed stellaris for me! so i decided to take it up and try and keep it up to date! as for the ssd guns, that it does have a lot, not as many as i would like lol, but i know to little to make the changes myself. so i make do with what is there. which is still a lot!

you can try using nsc with it, but for the better part, no, it is not compatible., you will find that there will be some weird occurrences, last i remember the main oneis you will have one SD, but it would look like there is another SD with its bow shoved up the *clears throat* the butt of the other.

TL:DR it will not crash your game, but i remember it causing visual problems.

i will also be uploading the last version for 3.14 for those wwo do not wish to update and wish to remain on it instead of having to use anything to do with 4.0 or later. however the caveat is there will be no more updates, or likely any new additions either. so for any of the new content we release for this version.

Quick stat-up for you all. A functionality update will be released soon, the mod should at least be fully playable till we finish the rework. Going to do a test playthrough first to see if there are any problems first and iron out any that happen to show themselves.

the supremacy class is already and has been in the mod for a long time. it is the juggernaut.
