All these bags and nothing about what they contain in the description. I assume this doesn't play well with mod items like calamity or thorium?

Some issue i found is that if i put the tokens in magic storage, and then open the crafting interface to make the bag within magic storage, even just clicking the bags instantly crashes the game.
I do play on a server im hosting and with other people, whom it also happens to.
Other than that i love the mod, other than this small inconvenience its great

Hello! i don´t know if this even matters but i ran into a problem with this mod when using the recipe browser mod when clicking on the mods recipe glitches the ui making things like the mouse cursor to vanish.

This probbably doesn´t matter but i just wanted say it anyways

sorry for the wait everyone! this update is larger than i thought, but 1.7 will overhaul the internal bag system! this should make everything a lot easier to implement in the future, and paves way to the eventual content mod support update
this mod also has a lot of changes to the current way of getting bags, making them more intuitive and fixes flaws that were present with how things were.

hello everyone! another update is gonna come out sometime, improving obtaining bags and making it less confusing.
bags will spawn in your character's when you create one, and you will be able to craft class specific bags as usual.
the hardmode starter bag will drop from the wall of flesh this time, and class specific hardmode bags will be obtained the same way as pre-hm.

i also plan to make a 2.0 update in the future, adding a better bag system, support for major content mods, although this may take a long time, as i'm not really focused on developing mods at the moment.

about calamity support: no, this mod will likely not have calamity starter bags; however if there is a large demand, i'll consider it.

about the welcome chat message: it was an oversight, i'll implement a switch for it as soon as i can

hello everyone who is subscribed to the comments! a quick update about the mod's still-in-progress update:
- All bag qualities have been implemented
- Config to change bag quality is still in progress
- Bag exploit fix is planned to be started on next

i apologize for the extremely slow speed i'm making this mod with. i've been busy with school and my other personal projects and i don't really have the time or motivation to fully focus on a terraria mod. i have taken a long break from developing on it and hopefully i can get the update out asap. the fact that so many people have downloaded this mod is insane, thank you again and sorry to keep you waiting!

Please make it so that you can only get 5, one for each class and some, so that you can't use it for infinite money. I've used this mod and every time it feels like cheating because I can buy anything. Other then that, really good mod!

intentional (and also i made this mod way too quick to think about that), will add a feature that disables the recipe after crafting one bag. next update is fixing the game breaking stuff that comes with this mod lol

It would be nice to add a choice of bag quality. After all, now they break the balance very much, the objects inside are strong to begin with. You can add a setting that allows you to choose between generous and less generous bags.

you get the starter bag by crafting it. it doesn't require any items, and you can craft it as many times as you want whenever you want. you can read the tooltips for further info

it's supposed to do that as a workaround for progression skipping, it gives you the pwnhammer back though, if not then i'll fix it!

sounds like a hell of a coding venture, and i do agree with the long-term compatibility with other mods, once i have the free time i'll definitely try to work something like this out!

Only issue is that it would be a coding venture much more intense than a standard starter bag. Up for it?

Lastly, when a player loads into a world with a bag config loaded, it will automatically give a player an item called "Starter Bag (name of config)" that has the items you previously configured inside. Later, you could later expand and apply a custom GUI for this feature and possibly use coding similar to shop expander to include more than the standard chest limit in a bag.

The main benefit for doing something like this is long-term modpack compatibility. Your mod will be used over any other starter bag mod because the user gets choice and not to mention the ability to mix and match using different mod items.
