@Kil'jaeden: It still works for factions that existed pre 6.0 update, but I was unable to confederate Skulltaker while playing as Daemons of Chaos so I think it doesn't work for the factions added by the update.

Hi Wolfy, for some reason I can't confederate Tamurkhan as Archaon (I have the option enabled in MCT). Is there something I am missing ? Thx in advance

Oopsies, it was dumb from me, I think you can still confederate epedemius with Belakor and Archaon, by enabling the mod configuration tool, and setting "Allow Belakor to confederate everyone" to true.

Hey, Firstly I just want to say I have spent probably way too much time playing this game and most of that has been done using this mod! Thank you so much for creating something so enjoyable. It really has kept me amused. I am hoping that the creator or maybe someone in the comments with the knowledge required could up-date this as with the update of Thrones of Decay and the next 2 to come this mod will surely be better than ever before!

Hopefully someone can do this for the community and once again many thanks to Wolfy for making it in the first place :D

Okay, found the issue. basically in the script/campaign/mod/wolfy_chaos_confederation_dataset.lua file, the list of confederable factions is hardcoded there.

Someone just needs to add the two new nurgle factions into the appropiate places, and it should work again.

Wolfy, is it possible for you to edit that and update the mod?
The factions are
"wh3_dlc25_nur_tamurkhan"
"wh3_dlc25_nur_epidemius"
""wh3_dlc24_tze_the_deceivers" (I've seen the changeling work, even if it isn't hardcoded in)

They're retiring from modding. Leave them be. If you want to update something, learn the modkit and do it.

Popular mods like Legendary Characters and LCCP add in new Warriors of Chaos factions dedicated to specific gods. Does this mod allow the Daemon factions to confederate these Warriors of Chaos factions or is a submod needed for that?

I was just taking a look if there's somebody in the comments here asking the same confederation question for the 50th time (usually having the weirdest campaign setup, using 3 other mods to go off any beaten path and then trying to "sell" it to you as an almost campaign-breaking bug "report"), and I would have scolded them for you!!! HAHA <3

@Guv Looks to me like he wrote the text, pasted it in comments and the description of all his mods and didn't change anything else. Pretty sure he won't ca$h in big bucks (does any modder for WH3?) and even if he did - more than deserved from my POV!

After seven years of modding, I've decided to step aside due to significant changes in my personal situation. Unfortunately, I no longer have enough time, resources, or energy for gaming and modding. I appreciate your understanding and respect for my decision.

Most of my mods will be classified as End of Maintenance , with regular updates ceasing. While many should still function, if any encounter issues and you wish to take over, please contact me on Discord. Updates may occasionally occur for minor bug fixes or if I'm inclined, but this won't be the norm.

Thank you all for your overwhelming support over the years—love, positive comments, donations, ideas, and everything shared. It means a lot. What began as a personal hobby has grown into a community with tens of thousands of subscribers, some mods surpassing the 50k mark. Leaving is tough, but I believe it's a decision for the better.

You see, i defeated Kholek with Daniel personally. So i got to confederate him but I was using trajann's major LL and defeated festus. i didnt get a message.

neeed clarify. If my generic lord defeats LL. i cannot confederate?

sadly the popup does not come up when playing as Belakor. Any tips what kind of mods could influence this?

Your mod is very good , but to be perfect it needs to be attached to the rest of the forces of chaos (beastmen, norse, dawi zarr, skaven) but even without those wonders your work is beautiful

it's not clear per the description - has the vanilla confed mechanic of belakor and archaon been disabled (capture last settlement)? Or is that still a possible route for belakor especially who per above cant confed WoC in the norscan way?

Wolfy when are you going to update it, sorry but I was planning to start a new chaos campaign and I cannot loger play it without this mod, is perfect, it really shows how chaos works, the strong rules over the weak.

Wolfy when you update it for patch 4.1 please add the Changeling to it.
