Well you should be informed that this helicopter was not designed with that in mind.
This helicopter was made for at least a 2 man crew.
One pilot.
And one ground or crane operator
But whatever floats your boat.

Also, regarding the container loading issues, I can't seem to put my finger on it.
I was able to load containers alright during my own pre release testing. But, the game's physics engine has not been kind to the rope mechanisms.
So that can definitely introduce discrepancies.
To connect the bucket you need to align it up with the main connector on the Stratolifter.
I am not able to update it now, but I am going to add an electrical connector in the middle to make linking a lot simpler.
For the time being, simply adding an electrical connector in between the armament connectors will make connecting significantly easier.

I made this vehicle primarily for my own creative multiplayer experience.
Where you can have a dedicated pilot and winch operator, along side cargo operators on the ground.
It is possible to use in singleplayer, but definitely requires getting used, so that you can understand the aircraft better.
