So, after some experimenting, I've found this mod really could use some editing/revising. I also found that just editing/modifying specific loads seems to be trickier than just adding in new loads.

As far as I can tell , I've managed to get all missing loads back (I always wondered why I never got any loads for my gas tank even after 3 rest cycles), and the above loads seem to be appropriately indicated.

I would like to make a suggestion. On products that trigger the light to go on could you add the words - Beef,-Pork-Lamb-Buffalo-Chicken-Turkey-Pig-Poultry. These are used in different meat loads but do not trigger the light, if just each word was added it would cover most of the perishable loads commonly hauled by reefer trailers. Thanks for the very good mod.

Reefer load light still doesn't work on perishable, frozen or mixed loads. When hauling DFA loads it comes on no problem ???

I have noticed that I am missing a bunch of cargos mainly for flatbeds, and I have isolated the issue to this mod. The cargos I'm missing are- Bus Hood, School Bus, Glass, Glass Racks, Cotton Harvester, Cotton Lint, Trees, among others. These cargos are completely missing from the game and don't show up in the company browser. I also noticed the Knuckleboom Loader and Tub Grinder never spawn with this mod, though they do appear in the browser.

does this work with 1.48, and does it work with modded trailers, that should use the scs cargo as a base?

I have the same prob, no loads for either of the new tanks. Wasn't able to check for the generator though. I tested it with this being the only mod active.

hey quick question I'm using this mod and I can't get the SCS trailers such as the tanks to work.. im also missing the Generator Set as a cargo? does this conflict with those? Thanks!

I can attest to the author’s experience. I also run Reefer and I transport a lot of goods that do not REQUIRE refrigeration but the company wants it. Gummy bears are a great example. Those aren’t perishable but my company requires reefer on at 65 degrees which keeps them from melting together in extreme heat. Nuts are a freshness issue so a lot of companies require reefer there as well. Please quit doubting the mod author as his experience is valid here.

I think it's funny that some don't even know what this mod does or how to get it to turn "on" LOL

I do appreciate this much needed mod and after reading some of the comments, appreciate the experience you bring from having ran reefers yourself (as myself).) It is definitely a work in progress but works well for you've included so far.

If you could add "frozen load" I'd appreciate it. It's my current load and the reefer light isn't on.

I've noticed the same thing with the loads that would go into the acid trailers. I suppose a workaround in the short term is to turn the mod on and off which isn't to bad. This mod makes reefers relevant since it feels silly transporting loads with the unit off when it should be on.

It seems with the new Texas DLC this mod prevents the game from adding in the new cotton-related cargoes (the harvester, lint, and seeds). I imagine the cargo definitions just need to be updated to include them, like they were with Montana.

nuts would not be refrigerated, they would be dry bulk.

Updated this AM to include all new companies & cargoes...you may need to unsub, reload and resub depending on when you have updates scheduled in Steam.

I have kept an eye on your work since before you deleted the engine packs out of frustration over people pirating your work, and I keep seeing how some "customers" are riding your nerves, so I thought it would be a good idea to show you with more than just words that you're much appreciated :-)

@Robinicus thank you for your explanation. kinda reminds me of how beer doesn't have to be chilled when shipped but usually is anyways so it stays more fresh.

Just WHERE am I supposed to looking for this mod to light up or do something huh, does the trailer have to be loaded and hooked to a truck before we see anything or what cause right now it doesn't seem to be doing ANYTHING bud.

I don't know why people insist on making posts assuming their limited specific experience in an area means the entire industry operates only the way they have seen it....you would not load out from any of the companies I partner with without running reefers for those products....there is a reason one of my companies developed temp tattletales

And products don't have to be perishable to require a reefer...many items you buy in an unrefrigerated area of a retailer require refrigeration during shipping such as film, pharmaceuticals, certain types of batteries etc.

We don't drive with the reefer cooling nuts. They aren't perishable.
