for example, i tried a new game with a bunch of mods (including death is not the end, which drops a mushroom you can consume 1 time and get a highlander boost lightning effect) :)
but so far i have respawned 2 times and gone back to the character who died, but cant find all the items and equipment and bags etc that they had before - is there any way for our character to "drop all items in inventory etc" just before they die and turn into a zombie? that would be cool but wasnt sure if its possible or not?
Also notable, they get a type 15 kick. I've disabled type 15, so hopefully that fixes it.
@panjico - Plan to add things like this at some point, can't promise when.
@Drizzy - Late to respond, but I have no idea what's going on there. It logs to the client log, though, so you could look there.
Respawn.Id = "respawn";
Respawn.Name = "I was only knocked out, I'm waking up now..";
1. When you have 0 XP to start with
2. When you have a 100% chance to lose up to 100% of your XP
I tested it on our test server and then just to be sure it wasn't being caused by a mod conflict or sandbox settings I did a local server with default settings and only this mod running, and it still occurred. It will happen to any skill, as opposed to what I understood previously. I also tested it with a fresh Unemployed character with no traits, so there should be no XP external interactions occurring on that end, either.
My guess is that there might be an issue with your maths somewhere that needs to be worked out, but I haven't taken so thorough a look at it as to be sure. If I get around to it and find something out I'll let you know.
@Cyridius: I think I fixed the XP issue you reported, and I realized multipliers/boosts could cause another by affecting restored XP, so I moved the boost restoration after the levels. Hopefully that sorts that out.
@Cyridius: Eh? I've not seen this. Know anything you might be running that could interact? I wrote this when I was relatively new to Lua, I'll go over it sometime soon and see if I spot anything odd that could cause it.
