it literally just makes me spin end over end
It just rolls infinitely:steammocking:
I readed the comments and some of them made it even worse and un-controllable
Did a nose dive and stunts in the air and exploded
Jay 2024
why does this jsut fly to the skys
Kruzifix [GER] 2024
still good autoland :D
Kruzifix [GER] 2024
I have no idea why the PID is so f*cking strong, I needed to put P on 0.056
So What do I need to do if my plane just flies directly up in the sky
If your plane does backflips you need to have the output for controls go though a gyro that is ON
Having a bit of trouble wheer it just over compesates the controls? almost like it doesnt know its rolling or pitching
Hi, was wondering what needs to be configured to get a plane to land? Ive been trying to add this to my large cargo plane but it refuses to land, it will fly rings around the airfield, even if I come in low and straight it will refuse to land
when i turn it on the plane starts doing backflips
Tim 2024
does not work
♡BUN BUN♡ 2024
I'm going to make an aircraft with this, I will ofc give you credit, along side a link back here.
im using this on a new plane and all it does is backflips im not really a logic guy so i dont know how to fix it
A_random_guy_here 2023 年 7 月 11 日 下午 5:21
dam. Good job I was gonna make this but i saw this.
the controller is good but crash lands as a landing
@Aria Math You may use the controller, just please credit me in the description if you upload it to the workshop.
Aria Math 2023
May I use this on a cargo plane?
Will be trying this out on a C 130 I turned into a tanker, it has a glideslope in a specific config so Ill try my best using your info to get this working lmao, will solve my fuel transport issue if it lands consistently without crashing, c130 is soo heavy with fuel its hard to land smoothly, and I need a fuel transporter for my economy server XD
Hello, I am using this microcontroller in my plane. When I activate it, it flips over, does turns and stalls.
Please help
And if it works only on the example one, can you make more planes with auto-land please?
Does it work in any aircraft, or just yours?
@Abhodds my planes crashing into mountains when circling the runway (it doesnt land? it just keeps circling, i tried increasing that setting and it doesnt seem to do anything, just gets more sensitive to stuff like stabalizing alt)
This fixes my only complaints about the previous one! Thank you very much, this is amazing. Kudos
@lhsmithnet ya, just like half your first increase and try again. Its very trial and error.

@unforgiven3091 Flare height is the altitude the plane tries to be at on the runway, it can't fly there though because it cuts the throttle, it will try and pitch up and "flare", which simulates what a real pilot would do in a landing. Higher Flare Height = Higher flare

To keep from hitting mountains, just set the altitude ceiling to 400 meters or greater, 400 meters are the tallest mountains. This won't affect the planes glide slope.
Fernando Alonso 2022
i did try to increase that, but instead the aircraft would overcompensate- turn super hard, like 90 degrees to get into the approach path, and then once it passes the approach heading it would do a 180 to try and intercept again. what is a good interval to increase the gain? i think i increased it by too much
Also can you add foward collision avoidance? (To stop it from crashing into hills/mountains
Whats the point of "Flare height", what effect does changing it have
@lhsmithnet there is a variable that should increase the approach length; "Runway align gain" increase it and the plane should line up better.

@unforgiven3091 There is an example plane, I'm going to post it in the description.
Fernando Alonso 2022
hey, could you possibly add a setting that controls how long the approach is? oftentimes my aircraft cannot line up to the runway in time for landing, and it doesnt help that it has to land relatively fast too lol
like the one in the photos
can you add a example plane?
Thank you, I can post it here when it’s done.
@ExoticOnix Sure, I'd also like to see this plane when it's done.
Hello, can I use this microcontroller in my plane for the workshop? Thank you.
one issue with this on i do not know why but it keeps putting max pitch until i stall and crash help?
The one issue I had with the old version is that I had to use the stock gyro on it. Although I don't complain since I know this thing is REALLY complicated and my brain can't even comprehend how it works. So I respect you and this.
Thank you MrMereScratch!
It's great to see the return of Stormworks' greatest aviation autopilot!
First! Wow I'm surprised no one's commented yet...
