so i retested them both, both of them no matter where you look it loads the green dots to show the areas that will be dug always on the ground and always digging down...

ive tried placing it on stones and in walls to change its digging direction however both of them only dig down no way to make it dig a tunnel now

could it be due to the update perhaps?

There are two different digging blocks. The one you're describing sounds like the Quarry block - it only digs down. There is also the Tunnel block which digs forward in the direction you were looking when placing it down. Sounds like that's the one you're looking for :D

when i place it, it is always arrow down is there a way to rotate it to dig a shaft across and not always just down?

I understand how that can be an issue. limitations can be a tricky thing for anything imo, take your time. I appreciate this mod, as i can see a ton of possible mods in the future (factories in a way).

Not at the moment. I might add it as an option at some point though. The problem is just that they would start despawning if every single block was dropped, as it would quite quickly fill up the cap that’s in place
