Digging Mod

描述
This mod introduces two automatic digging blocks to the game: the Quarry and the Tunnel block.
They make it possible to dig very large holes and tunnels without the need of manual labor but rather two blocks that do it all for you. They can be used to expose ores, dig extremely long tunnels, or make holes that you can fall into and die of fall damage to.
They are late-game blocks and are supposed to be an addition to survival, so they are rather expensive to craft.


How it works
When placing one of the blocks down you are greeted with the settings interface. On the Quarry block it is located on the top, and on the Tunnel block it is located on the side.
The things you can change here are:
- The size of the area to be dug out. This is done using the buttons with arrows on them - the small ones are for individual sides, the two big ones are for all sides at the same time.
- The depth of the hole to be dug out. This is done using the "+" and "-" buttons.
- Whether to dig ores as well. This is done using the button with the cube on it. This setting is off by default.

so i retested them both, both of them no matter where you look it loads the green dots to show the areas that will be dug always on the ground and always digging down...

ive tried placing it on stones and in walls to change its digging direction however both of them only dig down no way to make it dig a tunnel now

could it be due to the update perhaps?

There are two different digging blocks. The one you're describing sounds like the Quarry block - it only digs down. There is also the Tunnel block which digs forward in the direction you were looking when placing it down. Sounds like that's the one you're looking for :D

when i place it, it is always arrow down is there a way to rotate it to dig a shaft across and not always just down?

I understand how that can be an issue. limitations can be a tricky thing for anything imo, take your time. I appreciate this mod, as i can see a ton of possible mods in the future (factories in a way).

Not at the moment. I might add it as an option at some point though. The problem is just that they would start despawning if every single block was dropped, as it would quite quickly fill up the cap that’s in place
