It is a shame no one has been able to add variety to the Roman factions helmets yet. the ones in game are meh, in my opinion. Were are the ridge helmets and Spangenhelms. Great mod BTW.

The comitatenses 1st cohort units already bear the shields of the Herculianii

So cool, now I could use Legios rather than weak barbarian foederati infantry, as Comitatenses are quite expensive.
Oh, I almost forgot, could you add 2 new Elite units for the WRE? They are the Iovanii (Jovians) and Herculianii (Herculeans), popular during the Gildonic War.

I think the Roman Fan Youtuber: Maiorianus, mentionned it.
Or maybe I saw them from Rome 2 total war Empire divided for Aurelian Rome as very late Elite Units

renaming them to Psuedo Comitatenses would also work although I don't think it makes much sense in the context of the game

Plumbatarii aren't much more expensive than regular comitatenses, the only issue is barracks requirements, still I think the balance impact will not be severe, giving Legio Lanciarri to the WRE is probably a bigger buff, and it is historically accurate

May I suggest removing the Plumbatarii and replacing the comitatenses with them, by the point BI starts in plumbatae were standard among comitatenses and throwing spears were mainly used by limatanei

Hi, may I ask how you added the Auxilia Palatina to the ERE? I tried messing with the files and managed to add them myself, but not "completely". They looked odd, transparant, and wonky etc, and the unit card was just peasants. Tried looking for a solution online, but couldn't find one. Followed a guide that showed how to do add units, but that was for the old rome.

Can you reduce the population growth or mod it so that farms and markets decrease growth or can be destroyed. The growth is insane in this, villages can become huge citys in like 50 turns, this makes squalor ridiculous!

You should replace plumbatarii with palatini. Auxilia palatina are fine as elite spearmen, but there were palatine legions in the late Roman army. Plumbatae also weren't restricted to a specific class of troops. Both comitatenses and limitanei used them. Limitanei should also be divided into separate sword and spear units. Attila was better in how it portrayed the late Roman army if you want something to compare BI to.

it's a good time period, i feel like this coulda been a really cool expansion but they just kinda threw it together and called it good
i appreciate any love that BI gets and i look forward to see if you do anymore, i hope to see you move on to more, like updating the Romano-British or any faction honestly, they all kinda need help lol

i've always been sad about the lack of quality and lack of love for Barbarian Invasion, the lackluster rosters especially
if you do get to the Romano-British, please, i beg, give them the Foederoti Cavalry, and maybe Sarmatian Horse Archers
