I've tried to do a tactical nuke but i haven't had radiation leave the bomb yet, so it just explodes with no fallout.

you could possibly try an exposed (small) reactor with a sensor that activates when it detects that it left the aircraft, basically it blows up when it hits the ship and yeah, they are done

i'll find a way to do that. so far a MIRV cluster bomb is the better way of delivering lots of explosives in a small package
