Checked the mod with Darkness over Daggerford. Everything is fine.

I simply unsubscribed and the issue was fixed, I didn't look further. I could conceive that it was just the game being in a weird state and tweaking the mod setup fixed it - but I know it wasn't just a game reboot.
Anyway, just raising this in case it happens to someone else

Doomsayer, sorry, but for now I won't be able to check on compatibility issues with any premium modules. And what you experienced is quite puzzling, cause the module has nothing to do with beds or NPC pathfinding. Did you try to simply reinstal or check files?

This mod made me stuck in the very first room of Darkness over Daggerford.
The bed becomes invisible (but still has a collision), the servant who comes to wake you up gets stuck in place after the conversation, and it is impossible to leave the room.

I've had no issues with it while playing Pirates of the Sword Coast, but in the meantime, I'll have to unsubscribe

It should be working fine. Sometimes steam workshop needs a few attempts to work with NWN:EE in general. And if you're looking at some barrels which are a part of a tile they wont be changed by this mod, this mod only for placeable barrels.
