I'm not interested in mod making, but I'm a computer engineer. So I checked your code. The name of a variable in the location where you calculate the value has probably changed in the new version. Since I'm not fully familiar with your project, could you double-check it? I really respect your project. @Persepheus

Unfortunately, doesn't seem to work perfectly in 4.0. For example, the automated build branch office according to best ROI/Cost/Income sorting doesn't work, it only shows 0's and 999999 as the estimated metric, thus, it just auto builds branches on a randomly sorted list of colonies. Mine chose a pathetic brand new world automatically and well.... not happy about that.

This is such a huge quality of life improvement for megacorp players. It worked pretty well prior to 4.0 but this update broke a lot of things, including this mod. It no longer displays the correct values for things unfortunately.

After things calm down and Paradox has stabilized the game for version 4, it would be really cool if the mod author could update this mod, and I thank you for making this mod. It makes setting up branch offices so much easier than in the base game.

really liked the app so far - but does not seem to work with v3.14 (3.14.15) anymore :-/ tried with other mods but also vanilla with only this mod -> same effect: no way to open it via the expansion planner nor the edicts (I can't find any button/edict for the mod)

The Simple Chinese localisation does not work because of conflicts in the code.So could you please remove the Simple Chinese localisation in the mod?

I have a few ideas:

1. Something similar for Holdings on subjeect empires
2. A way to plan independently for each empire. Branch Office. Basically, I can establish a branch office on a small world, and pre-plan all 4 buildings. Each time a new building can be built on that planet, it will build it. Maybe even a way to save multiple templates. So, I could desing one that makes lots of energy, and put it on 2 worlds. Another one makes lots of minerals, and I place it on 1...

just some ideas! Great mod btw!

The BEST mod! It sadly broke with the newest update. It takes the Minerals to build Branch office Buildings but does not build them.

finally updated for 3.6 !

Also fixed the bug, that with gateways the cost goes infinitely high. Maybe there are still edge cases, plz tell me :)

It's a great mod tbh, at least last time I tried it did buy off automatically some branches, seems at a point the price go to infinity on the menu but still achievable if you make a branch manually. Might be related to distance.

Is the mod dead?
I tried it just now, the idea is great!
Unfortunately, some branches showed up costing tens of thousands energy credits and several thousands of influence.
When trying Autobuild feature, it started building unnamed structures with a sprite of '+', which wouldn't construct at all.
So, right now it's not functioning at all.

I set up 3 of the building slots on automation at the start of my game.
Later I changed to Gospel of the masses, and now when I try to pick the 4th building on automation the game crashes.
I am running criminal heritage and gospel of the masses.

@AlienFromBeyond That is true. I plan to show a lot of additional information, but much of it depends on intel. What you currently see you always can see, if you can open a branch office. For more infos you can quick jump to the planet. But I will add more data for sure :)

It might be useful if it showed the number of pops on the planet so you know how many corporate holdings you can construct on them and how close they are to upgrading and allowing more to be built, or just showing the number of corporate holding slots directly. A planet with slightly less trade value but an extra open slot compared to another planet is almost always better due to the powerful benefits of holdings.
