Yeah true.
I guess the original author just changed description and name of the gun itself, as the original SWEP seems to be the MG08/15 from BF1 instead.

I would say it's an MG08/15 more than a Maxim or regular MG08, but overall, yep... good mod..

Yeah I see.
And yeah I believe that the National Revolutionary Army does have some captured Japanese weapons, as well as that I heard about Soviets handing their captured Japanese equipment to the Chinese Communist forces, which they have used in the following civil war against Kuomintang forces.

Most Chinese Weapons were given from Germany before Japan join the axis. after that the German military equipment stopped being given to Chinese forces. and also there are other weapons from other countries. and the US weapons given to china. but they were used in the Chinese Civil War. that was between the Chinese communists. and the Kuomintang. <-- "I think I got that right don't know :/" and I think most Chinese army's. may have Gotten some Japanese weapons but I Don't know.

can you recover some of the TFA lost weapons, if you don´t or notice, the TFA base and other TFA related addons got removed from the workshop, including some of the creators TFA base weapons. I want to see comeback the original TFA weapons.

personally i would just rename the swep the MG08/15 and adjust the info accordingly unless you want me to do that for you.

rough translation:
"Type 24 heavy machine gun, Type 24 79 Maxim heavy machine gun or just Min24"

it blatantly is implying there was no REAL 'LMG portable' version of the Chinese type 24
the Chinese 24 was just a german assisted chinese clone of the maxim MG08 HMG (Not MG08/15 LMG) the model is a German MG08/15 LMG the 'more portable version' of the German MG08 HMG

Well apparently this is just a MG08 addon, which the original author probably just changed the name into Type 24 and didn't change the model or textures of it, but still, it might be historically accurate to a extent, since all those manufacturing tech and stuff were provided by the Germans to China back then.

OG addon was called 'MG08/15 LMG'
OG addon was published by raven
raven also made the animations
cherrio just re-uploaded it and just called it a type-24 'LMG' with no historical accuracy what so ever. (when reality wise this is is a MG08/15 LMG, and there was no LMG version of the type 24 MG it was a Medium MG/HMG for its time IRL)
