Ah yes, the Chinese Type 24 machine gun, AKA 二四式重機槍, 二四式七九馬克沁重機槍 or just 民二四 in Chinese.
Notability used by the National Revolutionary Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War.

It's a Chinese clone of the Maxim gun, although itself is essentially just German MG08, which the Germans gave away the design documents to the National Government of the Republic of China during the Sino-German cooperation from 1926 to 1941.

The addon was made by an unknown author, which were taken down for some reason.

Please be noted that this addon as a reupload, which means I'm not the original creator of this addon, but rather just the one who reuploads it back onto the workshop so that others can continue to use and enjoy.

Yeah true.
I guess the original author just changed description and name of the gun itself, as the original SWEP seems to be the MG08/15 from BF1 instead.

I would say it's an MG08/15 more than a Maxim or regular MG08, but overall, yep... good mod..

Yeah I see.
And yeah I believe that the National Revolutionary Army does have some captured Japanese weapons, as well as that I heard about Soviets handing their captured Japanese equipment to the Chinese Communist forces, which they have used in the following civil war against Kuomintang forces.

Most Chinese Weapons were given from Germany before Japan join the axis. after that the German military equipment stopped being given to Chinese forces. and also there are other weapons from other countries. and the US weapons given to china. but they were used in the Chinese Civil War. that was between the Chinese communists. and the Kuomintang. <-- "I think I got that right don't know :/" and I think most Chinese army's. may have Gotten some Japanese weapons but I Don't know.

It's probably originally just a MG08 SWEP, but was changed into Type 24 by someone else.
