The Rishinator The gimbal is for use with JTAC designation and LGMs. The AIM-3s should lock automatically if you launch them in the direction of a target.

what can i use the gimbal targeting pod for, and how do i make the aim-3 missiles lock onto target; the missiles dont seem to lock

I have to say that this is my favorite plane. Sank three ships by myself, took some hits but managed to make it all the way home and survive my first attempt at a landing in Stormworks. The number of controls and lack of mouse flight control might make this daunting, but the stability and ease of flying this beauty is terrific! Only complaint is that replacing the center fuel pylon with a Newquay torpedo only barely works, because it prevents the landing gear from closing.

There is no fix for it other than turning your physics detail to high.

dannytheburritoman What physics detail are you playing on? this tends to happen on Auto and Low physics.

And now I've found ANOTHER problem (ughhhhhh): The plane steers off to the side when I spawn it in. This is one of my favorite NQAF planes but these problems are annoying. Pls fix. :(

Stahlhelm Activate the master arm, and cycle through the pylons. The air-to-air missiles are on pylons 1 and 2. Hotkey 1 is to fire

@Headbox From the tip of the left wing to the fuselage is 1, 3, 5, and from the tip of the right wing to the fuselage is 2, 4 ,6.

which pylons are which by default, it doesnt seem to be left to right.

My dad spent his Navy career working on the beautiful EA-6B. Glad to know that both the Prowler and Intruder aren't forgiven!

Unfortunately if you’re in multiplayer the bombs hit the wings no matter the strategy you use, due to desync.

@squishy owls Try either divebombing or carpet bombing while flying level. The bombs don’t like being dropped while making intense maneuvers.

when dropping the mounted bombs, the wings seem to hit them, any way to counter this?

@Joseph D. All the weapons are from the Newquay Weapons pack, and most are compatible with my jet. Not all, since there are some spacing issues with the 5 wide adapters and the pylons. The pack has a couple ASHMs. You would just delete the weapons that come as default and copy paste whatever you want in their place.

Thx. If i wanted, say... I dont know? A metric butt-ton of ASMs for messing with the AI Civi- I mean the enemy invaders, would that be possible? if so, how do I link up all of the radars and whatever? When it comes to coordinating pylons and anchors and such I have about the logic skills of a drunk goldfish.

@Joseph D. Default loadout is 2 AIM-3 air-to-air missiles with ATG capability, 12 small bombs, and 6 BGM-6 ATGMs. Thanks for reminding me that I should probably add this to the feature list lol.

What weapons does it come with by default? Havent gotten the chance to try it out yet, and am curious.

@Blaze No, as I do not have any room for one. You can always use the Rotary gun pods from the Newquay Weapons Pack.
