[1] Why do so many nations lose their CCR benefits? The Mughals are given +5% Adm Eff. But -25% CCR is superior, in that it shortens the coring time and was actually a tradition so unlocked instantly. Rome on the other hand lost both its -20% CCR and +5% Adm Eff. Both super powerful ideas, if you managed to form Rome.
[2] Why does artillery in some cases like Mewar have a shock bonus? Like Artillery Shock +0.25 is basically negligible as an idea, cause only half of that will be applied which is +0.125, during the shock phase.
[3] Certain ideas feel like a downgrade from the prior tag. Like Rajputana versus Mewar is actually kind of a downgrade, you lose the War Score Cost, ICA, in return you get +1 Prestige. Rajputana doesn't even get an extended mission tree, having better ideas is the only thing they had going for them in vanilla.
But with the idea bug, I wasn't clear enough. I was still Mamluks and I'm unsure when it happened, but at some point I was look at my ideas and I noticed I had the vanilla Mamluk ideas instead of Historical, even though I started with Historical Mamluk ideas, which turned into Arabian ideas when I click the change ideas button that is in the ideas window that comes with this mod, so I press it again and it became Historical Mamluk ideas
So, the timelines is: Start as Mamluks with Historical Ideas --> Ideas changed to Vanilla Mamluks ideas at some point --> Became Arabian ideas when I click button --> Became Historical ideas again after clicking the button a 2nd time --> a long time after I formed Egypt, noticed it was Vanilla and came here to ask about it.
Now though, getting the Mamluks ideas is strange as hell :T
Did you actually form Egypt or did the game just gave it the name Egypt?
A thing to be clear would be if you had the Egypt flag
I'll re-enable the decision to make so you can use it if ET is enabled and thus not losing the ability to swap idea sets
I was never able to make the preview work for modded ideas, only for vanilla ones...
We do have our handy bot on the discord that does have all the HIE national ideas as well as all the Vanilla non-generic ones (:
but we usually don't do it for on-going games cause it can get messy due to loading of files and save-states :/
like in the end you could solve it with a run-file and do something like this:

Didn't play an old save, but I often load this mod in the half of my game and it works well for the country I play but I have to switch tags and click change ideas for other countries that I want to have these new ideas. I don't know much about modding, but if it's not difficult - it would be great to have a decision or some other feature that allows us get these ideas over original ideas for every country when we ladd this mod in the middle of our gameplay

It feels strange, since all our ideas [when present] are loaded before vanilla ones/etc...
The only thing that would come to mind is
1. The mod hasn't updated correctly
2. continuing a save where the old version was active? if that is true you'd see the same on other countries that were updated
Yes, a "Horde" update is planned, but it won't be before the next 2~3 at least
Since we don't edit vanilla ideas what will happen
1. if the country has HIE ideas it will loads those
2. if it doesn't it will load the first idea set it finds [modded or vanilla]
ALSO
since we allow swapping "out" of our ideas [for either vanilla or other modded] for the sake of compatibility [with missions, etc] you can just get the other sets by using the custom Button on the Idea screen [can be used twice per country every age]

You are kinda right, we have ideas to rework Poland, the PLC and LPC [we are currently happy with Lithuania] in the future (:

now the French nations in the France region? yeah we kinda never focused on them xD
We have like 60% of them designed, but the dev doing it is currently on hiatus, and in the meantime we have been planning already another 5-8 regions worth of updates :D
I'll try to find a way to make some better images...
So, our mod's ideas load before any other mod's ideas [and before vanilla] therefore you are either getting our Spanish ideas [Spanish-Castillian, Spanish-Loenese, Spanish-Galician, etc.] or the vanilla Spanish ideas, you can check this via the Idea Interface that will show you which national ideas you have [and the button "Swap National Ideas" will tell you what national ideas you'd get when swapping.
So if you have the "Spanish Ideas" then you have the vanilla ideas, in that case [we do NOT edit vanilla files] it's the other mod[s] that is editing them...
Note, anyway, that NOT all of our Spanish Ideas have Artillery Fire in Traditions, but still none of them have -1% Army Tradition Decay :|
Generally this mod is compatible with any mod since our national ideas are loaded Before any others...
You might still find some wonky effects due to how pdx stores the data in the game [.txt files are no the best] :D
Fixed Countries not receiving their "group" ideas [such as Horde Ideas] and instead defaulting to the "Default Vanilla Idea Set"
but not crashes, only the effects of ideas not applying correctly [if you already unlocked that "position"]

it depends, some mods are more compatible than others whereas others might just not work at all...
I got a question - are "Expanded Family" mods compatible with Europa Expanded mod (mission tree and such)?
the mod hasn't been translated to German truly
But if you play with German you will read the english text and not get the "Missing Localisation" error
