I second the request to make this compatible with the Variant Selector

Why do all the base models all look like they like tomales, tacos and somberos? Same guy... over and over again with some funky costumes now.

@Lobsterkuln I'd recommend either of Bastilean's caravan masters mods; he did models for one and I helped do some models for the other. Unfortunately by default they have no variety, yeah

On the picture of your mod it is the model on the top left with the mask that is getting copy pasted everywhere.

When using this mod I find that all my Magistrates in my Cathay Caravans all looks the same. They all have the fat magistrate model with a mask over their face. Every single Caravan has this exact same body and face when recruiting

@Mecha Magos I haven't modded since I posted this in late May, so I'm not too sure yet what I'd like to do. I've been meaning to finish up Cathay but then again the new IE factions could use some more variety. Larger project has been the Beastmen of Ind, but nobody can add new factions yet and even then I wouldn't know how to right now, haha. Appreciate the interest!

@Fresh Prince of Solaire Much obliged, will see if I can get my magistrates murdered, see what happens. Also, you mentioned 'making something more', do you think you'd do something similar like this for the alchemists and astromancer heroes for Cathay, or something else entirely?

I'd check to see how the gore is affected now but these cowards rout before they get a chance to die in my attempts so far, lol

Okay, I THINK this mod is fixed, I just got rid of the stump in the VMD, I don't know if it will affect the gore or not but the neck stump isn't floating around their head anymore. If any other glitches occur feel free to let me know!

@Fresh Prince of Solaire I'll say, I'd definitely be pumped to see more models of magistrates and shugengan - but it's more than fair that it's going to take time, everyone's been waiting for immortal empires - I'm particularly excited for the end game scenarios, curious how hard they can go. But yeah, have fun, and great work!

Hey, now that the game is, in my opinion, OFFICIALLY released with immortal empires, I'll try to look into updating stuff and maybe looking to make something more, but my job keeps me busy so I can't promise I'll be particularly quick!

An update may be needed, on account of immortal empires landing and red blobs (rigs? blood god dlc support? idk) showing through the sides of the heads of the magistrate models! Been loving playing with them so far, and appreciate the dynasty warriors inspiration on some of them

in picture 3 you can see the forehead of the lord is to small. in my opinion is not nice and not realistic. if you can do something. then will be great. thanks anyway. great mod.

I have a small request: for the next update could you switch variant 1 with variant 12? Varient 12 is the coolest looking (imo) but varient 1 is what is used for caravan merchants and that's really the only time I ever use the magistrate because why would you hire one of those instead of a spell caster? I can switch the variants but the masks from other varients get copied onto it and I dunno how to the art side of modding. Great mod btw!

@Kingronthegreat They are all there, but the appearance rate is kind of low due to the yin-yang system necessitating 24 variants instead of the usual 12 that'd be there otherwise; I tested it for an hour easy-easy and recruited 11 of each, only missing the masked, wide-brim magistrate and the spiky kneepadded shugengan.

@Серафим Вэйлoр I've only been modding for a bit more than a week, but I did love that idea for a piratey Cathay faction; as well as an undead one as somebody else on the workshop has started. Right now working on shugengan lords anyway, and I can look into what I could work up for a lord like that aesthetically!
