How do you use these?

your engines are good but they are not linked (like throttle ,starter,etc)

The V engines aren't actual V engines, they're just made to look like one, under the decorations it's still just a flat engine.

The letters at the bottom are to identify the engine type, F is for Flat, V is for V engines, I is for Inline engines.

It is very easy to remove the decorations, and my engines worked fine. I think that you did something wrong. I downloaded this and it worked fine in a boat.

your engine shouldn't be out in the open, so why does this need extra confusing parts to make it worse to work with
followed all the directions, it doesn't work, just wasted 5 minutes

Can I make a request for a microcontroller? (if possible) using a handcrank with torque meter that converts Rps into a numerical output for pistons? Hope you don’t mind.

Lazy Cat it’s all good now but I have a question, what’s with the pipes connected to the cylinders? Are they just aesthetic? Or do they serve an important purpose?

cats completely kill the flow if placed in reverse, maybe check if that was the case?

alright, apparently catalytic converter were the cause, weird.

@Lazy Cat really like the designs, however I have a weird issue, engine starts and works fine with no issues and it idles. But whenever I put load on it it stalls (as excepted if gear is too high), the weird parts starts after that stall, engine does not turn back on whatsoever, it has fuel and everything and I put the gear into neutral after the stall but it cannot start again.

Are you sure the engine is actually started and on? If not, check if all connections are connected correctly, especially the composite connection from the cylinder, as that is a common source of issues.

When i Start the Engine it makes this awful noise. how can i prevent that Lazy Cat?

i did,everything is connected

make sure everything is connected, check air, fuel, exhaust, logic connections, and the composite connection, when using the included ECU

for some reason when i try to start the engine,it just keeps trying to start and dont works :v

it uses diesel, make sure everything is hooked up

what fuel does this use, i plug everything in for fuel and its not getting any fuel

what controller are you using to contorl the engine? the one included in the pack? or some other?
if using the one included in the pack, make sure cylinder composite is hooked up, else check if air throttle is divided by 2 for the fuel manifold.

i have connected them correctly i think but they still dont work and they get number input any other idiea of what i mighit be duing wrong?

I didn't even clue into the fact that they didn't have 12 cylinders, lmao. Here I was wondering why the power output felt a bit limited, I figured it was because because my own previous design had multiple manifolds for air and fuel and they were maybe being saturated in your design. Anyway, probably going to try to port your changes over and undo some of my modifications. The design is still far more aesthetic and compact than anything I could have come up with.

check if fuel is connected correctly and has number input.
check if air is connected correctly and has number input.
check if exhaust is connected correctly, to the port on the bottom.

@Lazy Cat The V6 with flat top does not work with infinite fuel off even tho i have fuel what shuld i do pls help

12 cylinder engines had a functional flaw, likely due to me being distracted and or tired when making them, resulting in me forgetting to add 2 cylinders to actually make them 12 cylinders, but when using a modified version of the engine there should be no issue, also a slight cosmetic update to the 12 cylinder engines afterwards.

@Lazy Cat What was wrong with them? I used one of the V12s for my tank. Was it a cosmetic change or functional?

@Sarphon I'm using a heavily modified version of Uran_Wind's Modular Engine Controller, but I think the one that comes with this collection should work too. I never tried it though because I already had Uran_Wind's controller mixed with my tank steering and gearbox controller.

fixed a mistake with the 12 cylinder engines, that's all. no controller updates

ah thanks @drift_91 i wasn't using one, you got any good microcontrollers i can use?

@Lazy Cat, what was changed in your update from about 4 hours ago? Was it only the microcontroller or did you make changes to any of the engines? I'm using a modified version of one of your V12s with my own controller and I just want to make sure it's up-to-date.

Very nice designs, btw, twice as compact and a lot more aesthetic than the engine I'd previously built for my Leopard 2A4M tank. I ended up quickly ripping the manifolds off the top and replaced them with more cylinders to give extra power. Can do 70 km/h with 6,000 mass and it accelerates pretty quickly. Only issue I had was trying to fit a flywheel on, where I had to relocate the cooling manifold and replace the pump with an electric one.

@Sarphon Are you using a gearbox to increase the RPS of the propeller? Even if it's set to a static gear, you're likely going to need a gearbox or two to convert torque to speed.
