Nevermind, it works when I installed from Steam workshop. I did install from neverwinter vault before. I think only vault version have problem? I did install other required projects though.

I'll let you know when I do the next modules update. If you still get the error, let me know. So far no one else has mentioned this. If I recall right, the module does use a custom talk table, but it should be included in the download.

Sorry to botehr you, but when I click the module, it says "Could not load the Module. Missing required custom talk table." and crashes to main title. Is there any solution?

If you mean scripting, I haven't done much scripting, but there are some good tutorials that can be found on Google, such as a Youtube series on the basics of NWN scripting.

Heya Night know it's been awhile but I would like to get back into NWN modding!

Lots of real life stuff popping up.

As of right now, there is no definite release date for the full campaign, since I'm working on other projects and don't have the time and energy to work on this full-time. If the project is updated, I will be sure to let everyone know.

Great idea, hope you eventually do the whole campaign! I'm honestly surprised no one's done this before; I've had my eye out for something similar since NWN launched and it seemed like no one bothered even though it's definitely needed.

H, I went ahead and released the module on NWN Vault for players who had trouble installing the Steam version. Copy the hak, module, and override files into their folders.

it said the HAK file was missing so i imagine i would have to manually move all the files over. don't feel like doing that though

"Steam Workshop seems to have a problem with modules not showing in-game. Possible solution: If that happens, then copy the module from your steam workshop modules directory (typically c:\programs (x86)\steam\steamapps\workshop and then find the folder where the mod is located). Copy it to Documents\Neverwinter Nights\modules. That should help. The rest of the files seems to work fine (hak etc.)"

i uninstalled the game, removed all files, reinstalled the game and your module still does not show up

It might have to do with your installation since others haven't reported having this problem. Try a clean installation and then get back to me.

not the first module where i had this kind of problem actually
"lord of terror" i had to manually move folders around to play it. though, then it was of course displayed in "local" modules

I made a few more changes, let me know if it works now. If not, then I will work on a solution. Also, there should be a way to clear your "subscribed" folder.

Unfortunately it still crashes for me at the same time. I didn't install anything extra, I have a clean vanilla game. The override folder is completely empty.

There was an error in the module title which was preventing it from showing up as a subscribed mod, but it's been corrected. I also updated the module with new potions and scrolls available from the merchant.

As for Szary, I recommend trying to load the module again. If it still isn't working, then let me know if you have any custom content installed in your "Documents - Neverwinter Nights folder" (such as files in the "override" folder).

Most likely the new patch caused some issues. You shouldn't need mods other than what are included in the download. I'll retest the module and let you know when it's been updated.

Keep normal rest only in set spots. have a day clock that is used to give like one HP per day back out of rest zones and recharges daily uses powers and spells and items , Resting out side of the rest zones could activate this but i would keep the HP all the time. Healing spells powers and healing kits would work normal. could even slow players movement if they don't sleep for days!

I will probably release a version without respawning encounters. Personally, I think having respawning encounters adds challenge and makes the world feel alive. It also gives players new ways to level up and acquire loot.

I may include a version of the modules without respawns for players who don't like that idea.

I think that including enemy respawns adds more immersion and strategy. The problem with too many rest restrictions is that it would be biased against spellcasters who have to rest frequently to replenish their spells.

why respawns? thats a fake way to increase difficulty. rest restrictions are better

@Steggan - I've finished the most complicated scripting now, so most likely the OC modules will be finished sometime this month, but no guarantees as of yet.

Regarding spellcasters, I will make sure that they have ample places to rest, especially due to the fact that enemies respawn now.

This sounds amazing, could we please have Chapter 1 of the OC ASAP? Spent hours in in just Chapter 1 and would love to see it switched up. Are you looking at re-balancing spell casters if you are changing resting mechanic and how much will looting be improved as the game already gives quite a lot of magical items?

Hi, I'm thinking of taking a short hiatus. Don't worry, the work is coming along fine and most of the scripting issues have been fixed.

I'll also probably just release all of the campaign modules at once (OC, SoU, SotU) since I've started working on them.

Right now, I'm mainly working on rebuilding NPCs and enemy encounters, fixing factions, and balancing items. Aside from that, I plan on overhauling the loot drops and a few miscellaneous things (such as adding new enemies and boss fights, and rebuilding the henchmen).

If there is enough popular demand (such as players who mentioned they wanted to play just one of the campaigns, such as the OC) - then I may start working on it sooner. So if anyone is in a hurry to play one of the campaigns or chapters, then please let me know.

Due to some technical difficulties with scripting and other life priorities, I can't promise a specific release date for any of the modules.

Once these issues are resolved, I think that the rest of the modding will go by smoothly, but again I can't promise a specific release date for the time being. Thanks for your patience.
