First of all, you'll have to download the latest Beta for Gothic 1 here on Steam to be able to use Mods from the Steam Workshop. So navigate to properties of the game, click on "Betas" and select the workshop beta there.When you have done that, you will be able to select the "Mod launcher" when launching the game on Steam. You can now start your game with the new mod launcher, the Patch should already be enabled there.
