I believe there is a flip switch in the cockpit that enables it, I think it is to the left of the pilot's seat or on the overhead panel I forgot

Autopilot has a tutorial in desc and fuel trim just balances out the plane's fuel tanks. The other two you can look up if you are interested but they aren't needed in game to fly. These are the only important systems as far as I remember

when i engage the autopilot, the plane keeps banking to the left, and then to the right. it basically repeats itself, but one reason could be that i don't know how the autopilot works
