It would cause to many changes and mean AI would add Psionics to there robots if they had. So I created a separate patch mod that allows this.

I found the problem, I think. If you were using Compatible Ascension Paths since it added its own it appears to have duplicated the trait. I have now patched this but you may this to be the case for any other mod that tries to change these traits. If you come across some I should be able to patch in.

@Supersampleman: I have fixed so robot/machine pops cannot add the trait but I do not know how you have multiple psionic traits, do you have any other mod running that affects psionic, traits or Ascensions ?

Please update this mod. It starts to popping empty event windows again, like nearly two weeks ago. Someone opened their save game and this "window" thing keeps regenerating itself again and again.

Technically, this mod isn’t balanced by Paradox standards, but it’s not blatantly cheaty either. If another species in your empire has it, you can add it to any other.

There are also console commands:

add_trait_species 1 trait_brainslug – Adds the trait directly to your main species.

effect set_country_flag = finished_brainslug_chain – Lets you apply the trait via gene modding, as if you'd finished the event chain.

add_anomaly DISTAR_BRAINSLUG_CAT (with an astral body selected) – Triggers the Abandoned Settlements anomaly that begins the brainslug event chain.

Thanks for this! Always thought that with having Evolutionary Mastery, it should be possible to modify Cybernetic and Psionic pops to remove those traits. Works like a charm.
