I made this when I had no idea what I was doing when making mods, and I don't have the source files anymore to fix it. I don't plan on remaking this anytime soon but if anyone would like to try their hand at it go ahead.

You're right in the fact that the blue flash wasn't present during Vietnam; it wasn't officially approved until 2000, which makes this mod super-duper broken in terms of lore. To answer your other question regarding the symbolism of the flash:

The blue color palette and 13 stars are redolent of the U.S. flag carried by the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War (13 stars representing the original 13 colonies)

Curious but what beret badge does this represent? I've seen it online but I'm curious what it's part of like I don't think that symbol existed during the Vietnam war it looks modern.

Eh I think his shirt in this one is white but it's just covered in shadows. And yeah the fact that none of the other survivors have oddities in their poster renditions besides Bill is weird. Unless you include the fact that Zoey doesn't look like herself in a few posters

I was actually planning on making a black version of this as well, I'd just made this one first for those who would still prefer Bill's normal beret color along with the new flash

I think the beret itself is a bit too blue, i suggest making it more black
