Historically, Rurik is a legendary and poorly documented figure. His story appears only in much later chronicles, and no reliable sources confirm his existence. Most historians see him as mythologized. At the same time, the Rus are first mentioned in the Annales Bertiniani in 839 - before Rurik’s supposed rule.
Choosing Novgorod as the capital is also questionable. Archaeology shows the city appeared only in the 10th century and had no major role in early Rus. The true core of Rus was in the middle Dnieper region, with Kyiv as its main center from at least the 10th century.
A more historically accurate setup would be to feature Kyiv and a documented ruler - such as Sviatoslav or Volodymyr. This would make the mod more immersive and respectful of real history.

I do see that there are some minor bugs in the City names department: there are some duplicates like Chernihiv AND Chernigov, duplicated Suzdal etc.
Seems like this is coming from one of the origin mods you have uses as a starting point.
Could you please check and fix when you have time.
That doesn't make any sense. If you play YnAMP's Giant Earth map, there will be no problem. You're not using Merrick's Keiv Rus mod together, are you? If you use it together, there's a problem
It's because original mod is based on Harald III Hardrada. So audio is his audio.
And Rurik based in Novgorod. So I already explain in this page how you can change the capital to Kyiv.
And please use English when you communicate with other countries people.

Kyiv was not founded by Rus-Vikings, but was conquered by one of that bands.
Completely idiotic mod.
